Chapter 14: chapter 13: conquering a goblin camp part 1

I wonder what this champion will be like as a person as I walked through the fort I would soon come upon the place where the goblin champion was being kept I saw his wounds were patched up and he was sharpening his sword with a rock he notice me near instantly he spoke up in a clear tone "I was wondering when you would come and see me you better keep your end of the deal human" I smiled at his feisty attitude and as I would speak "I'm a man of my word and besides less issues for my town the better no I want you to come to the war room with me so we can start planning an assault on the goblins who betrayed you and see if we can break their will and make them into puppets for me" this caught his extension he wasn't expecting for me to have a horrible fate plan for his former tribe but then again why would he care they betrayed him and left him to rot he spoke up "and what makes you think that would be good puppets?" I smile as I stared at him with genuine eyes "well I can use them as hit and run unit and cause terror amongst other villages and then swoop into the rescue after offering my service then I can start expanding my own borders" the look in his eyes was one of inall I got a smile on my face as I ingested for him to follow he did without much issue as I led the way to the war room I need him to identify where the camp was and use them to formally a strategy on how they usually handle their protection of their tribe as both me and him entered the war room Leo was already there looking at the map I smiled as I said "Leo good to see you I brought the goblin champion here to help us find the goblin incanada just so be easier" Leo looked up and all as he saw the huge goblin champion he haven't met him personally last time he saw him was at the battle when he was captured he spoke "Lord Jack are you sure we should try and accept the help of a goblin no offense to you but your people haven't made the best first impression for Lord Jack and that was nice as I have ever experienced goblins" they're going champion seems to not be offended which was good I didn't want to have to break them up if they got into a fight but the real thing that was concerning me was how many mages were there in a single goblin tribe which would be a very big problem if there's more than two because if there was more we might have to use hit and run tactics to whittle them down enough where the majors won't really make a difference but then the voice of the champion caught my attention"they betrayed me that goes against every belief goblins society has they're no longer my people so I have no issue helping you out this once because by laws of the goblin people I must take vengeance against them" this caught my attention considering goblins were typically depicted as lawless mindless creatures who only listens to their base desires the look on Leo's face was something of disgust but also understanding "well then goblin what is your name I must call you something" the goblin champion cleared his throat and with a smile he spoke "my name is luck I know it's ironic giving the circumstance" I smile as I spoke "I think it's a good name no how about we get the planning Leon how many soldiers do we have of the living?" Well they have looked at me with a sad expression "after the battle there is only me Drake Luna and Helga left of the living" this caught me by surprise I saw the kill count during the battle I just figured it was my undead that were perishing I spoke up again almost curious "and how many of the undead do we still have and has all the corpses been brought back to the Bone pile room?" Leo was covered with the look of horror I figured what he was thinking about I would spoke before he got the chance "I want our fallen comrades to be buried in the town graveyard I only want the courses of our enemies filling the bone pile room" the look of terror faded from Leo's face which bronze smile to mine the champion walked up to the map as he pointed to a section of forest near a mountain and spoke "this is where the entrance to our trip layer there's a tongue that will lead you underground from the entrance to our main area which is deep underground below the mountain" just call my attention if we do wipe out the goblins from that camp we could send in the mining family to start mining ore down there which could help us make some profit to increase our own growth I spoke up calmly"all right how big is your tribe how many mages do you have and how many of you there are after the battle?"
