"Understandable, not many people like telling secrets about their semblance." he said walking over to a cage. "Now let us see what you can do against a Boarbatusk." he said, grabbing his weapon off the wall before releasing the Grimm from its cage. The Grimm came out of the cage looking right at me.
The Grimm seemed to glare at me before acting like it was about to charge toward me. I wondered if Grimm could experience fear. Calling on my [Draconic Presence] I sent rage at the Grimm only. The Grimm stopped where it was and started shaking.
"I guess it does work on Grimm." I said out loud.
Not wanting to prolong this fight I aim my pistols at the beast. Firing off two shots one from each pistol right into its eyes.
"Mind if I ask what you did? Grimm shouldn't be able to experience fear. However, you scared the Grimm." Port asked me.
"No. It is for me to know and for you never to find out." I told him.
"Very well. We seem to be in the presence of a true huntsman in training." he said toward the class.
That was the end of the class and apparently, it was the only class for today. Everyone started leaving, however I saw that Weiss seemed to be agitated and Ruby followed her. My peerage and I followed them out and managed to catch some of their arguments.
"What is wrong with you Weiss?" Ruby asked her teammate.
"What is wrong with me, what is wrong with you? Back in the forest, you acted like a child and you have only continued to do so. You are supposed to be a leader but you have only been a nuisance." Wiess yelled back at Ruby.
"Where is all this coming from? I thought you believe in working together and as a team." Ruby said to Weiss.
"Not a team led by you. I've studied and trained and quite frankly I deserve better. Ozpin made a mistake." Weiss said, walking away.
"Why don't you three get ready to head into town? I'll meet you at the front of the school." I said to my peerage and they left. I walked up to Ruby and saw she was upset. "That could have gone better." I said, catching her attention.
"You heard. Do you think she was right? Did Ozpin make a mistake?" She asked, looking like she knew my answer.
"I could tell you that he did or that he didn't make a mistake. However, that isn't what matters, Ruby. What matters is what you think. I can offer some advice though. A great leader doesn't set out to be a leader... they set out to make a difference. Weiss believes she would make a better leader because she was spoiled and always got what she wanted. You, Ruby, didn't have the same life as her. You didn't set out expecting to become a leader, you wanted to make a difference." I said stopping to emphasize.
"Just know that it is never about the role we play. It is about the goal in the end." I told her to walk away. I saw Ozpin out of the corner of my eye walk up to Ruby.
"He is right, you know." Ozpin said to Ruby just giving me a nod.
I didn't bother listening to the rest of the conversation and went to meet up with my peerage. I found them talking with a rabbit named Faunus and another girl wearing cocoa-colored clothing.
"What's going on? Did you make some friends in Asia, Eri, Ravel?" I asked when I got close enough.
"Onii-sama, this is Velvet and Coco. Velvet was wanting to know more about me. She saw my horn and was curious because she had never seen a Faunus like me." Eri told me.
"Oh, what did you tell them?" I asked.
"The truth. That I'm not sure what type of Faunus I am. That you took me when I was younger." she told me, winking one of her eyes at me.
"Ah, I see. It is nice to meet you Coco and Velvet." I said with a bow toward them.
"Oh, you seem to have some hot stuff. If you want to hang out sometime just let me know." Coco said, lowering her glasses and giving me a flirtatious wink.
"I wouldn't be against hanging out Coco, but my girlfriend may get the wrong idea." I told her with a grin.
"Oh, I see. Well, we could hang out as friends. Velvet and I are in our second year. We could give some advice." She said awkwardly.
"Actually, you look to be a woman of fashion based on your clothing. I was wondering if you had any place to shop for clothing in mind? We are new around here and didn't get a chance to explore the city." I told her and kind of got scared by the look in her eyes. Looking over at Velvet she seems to be trying to get away before she is grabbed by Coco.
"You know we are free right now. Mind if we tag along. I know all the right places for clothing." she told us.
"I don't mind it would be a good chance to make some friends." Asia said with a smile.
"Aww, aren't you cute. Don't worry Asia, we are already friends." Coco said pulling Velvet and leading us to the bullhead to town.
"You just had to ask about clothing?" I heard Velvet say with a sigh.
"Oops. My bad." I mumbled and saw Velvet's ears flick indicating she heard me.
"Oh my GOD. That was so cute." I mumbled again facepalming out of stupidity because I knew I was heard by Velvet. Looking over at her I noticed that she had a blush on her cheeks and a faint smile on her lips. Shutting my mouth to not say anything else that would get me in trouble with Ophis.
