"That is not what I meant and you know it." He pointed it out to me. "The families of team CRDL want justice for their son's deaths."
"I dare you to try." I told him glaring.
"What do you expect me to do?" Ozpin asked me. "I would have the council on my back if I just let this slide."
"That isn't for me to decide. I just hope you don't make a stupid decision." I told him, smirking.
"Are you threatening me?" Ozpin asked.
"If I was threatening you... you would know." I told him and got up to leave.
"Hold on, we aren't done here." Ozpin said, trying to stop me.
"Oh, that is where you are mistaken. You think you are in charge. No one controls me." I told him walking into the elevator leaving the room.

Ozpin POV:
I watched Mavros leave the room and gritted my teeth. Knowing I couldn't do anything to stop him. I wasn't a fool. Even if he didn't know it, Mavros is the champion of a god. I would know after all I have experienced the power of three gods in my many lifetimes.
The two brother gods who left Remnant to rot. The dark god even destroyed the moon before leaving. The light god who brought me back to life to stop Salem and bring humanity together. Which was an impossible goal. You can't get rid of racism, hate, anger, greed, lust, etc. These are a part of all humans and Faunus. The only ones above these traits are gods. Even if they can choose not to experience them.
These two gods were the least of my worries which I found out later. This is something Salem doesn't even know. Another God came to Remnant. In front of the brother gods, I felt like an ant trying to go against a dragon. In front of this being, I was nothing but a speck of dust being swept into the wind.
Never learned his name he just showed up one day observing the fallout on the planet. This God was actually who created the Faunus. People thought it was a strange mutation that took place. I wish that was the case. This god acted like a mad scientist. Waving his hand and taking people from their homes. Just to experiment on them and to see what made them tick. I got a front-row seat to all of this.
I was the second person he took to learn about my immortality. He took one look at me and showed disinterest. I even remember his exact words.
"Just like Salem with her stupid curse from the light god. Only slightly different where your soul gets tied to like-minded individuals. At least Salem doesn't remember her encounter with me. The light god made it where you remember everything. I could just end your life but that would be a repeat of the last Ozma I met. You are slightly different from the last Ozma though. His curse was evil-minded individuals. I killed the last one because he was annoying, promising poisoning and death in my future. I'll do something different this time and keep you alive." he said, talking to himself before turning back to his lab equipment, summoning kids to the elderly and tinkering with their bodies.
I still remember their screams to this day. Asking for him to stop while he added ears, horns, wings, teeth, changing their organs. Keeping them alive with his powers and keeping them sane.
Eventually, he got bored sending the Faunus away with a wave of his hand. Throwing away his trash as he called it.
"I will be back in time. This universe is boring so I'm going to leave and find another playground. Maybe go see the Seven Deadly Sins or go back to Highschool DXD. Ruining Issei is always fun and taking his women. Even if I stopped caring for the pleasure of the flesh after the first millennia. The choices I could make." he said before sending me away with one last warning.
"Oh, don't tell anyone about my existence. It is always more fun when people don't know about me."
I only had one thought of this God. He is a monster that deserves to be destroyed. Which wasn't what I was going to try. Even if I wanted to die I'm sure going against this being wouldn't be a good idea. Probably keep me alive for eternity just out of spite.
Mavros is like that God with his ego but at the same time isn't. He shows that he does care for others. I can feel the slight presence of a God on him also. Even if I don't recognize the presence. Not on the level of the third God I met but above the brother gods.
Now what to do about the Council and the families of team CRDL.

Mavros POV:
I don't like Ozpin. Always trying to control others. Even if I can understand slightly why he is controlling. Wanting to save the world from Salem even if he can't stop her. That still doesn't make it right to send kids to their deaths to fight her.
She is immortal, which he knows. He is in an endless conflict and shouldn't bring others into it.
I don't know what is going through his mind, I couldn't even fathom to guess. I need more power though. I could go back to class but I can't learn anything here that isn't common sense. So, I'm going to just go to a Grimm populated area. Which I have a perfect place in mind. Mountain Glenn, a place that was overrun and destroyed by Grimm.
Perfect place to let loose and gain some levels. Been stuck in the thirties for a while now even if my stats are that of a higher level. Which admittedly is my fault. I don't train anymore because the gains aren't worth it.
