Theres no way right? They couldn't have taken a living Phoenix and used its heart for a ritual WHILE IT WAS STILL ALIVE? But that would explain why none ofhis children are as strong as him. They dont have the heart. But then what did he say about needing blood to keep it going for his kids. Wait... "The missing egg." As soon as i say that everyones eyes look at me quizzically for a second before understanding flashes through their eyes and Tiamat crushes the floor with her pressure and rage.
"THEY DARE DESECRATE THE CHILD OF A PHOENIX?" Ive never seen Yasaka this upset. Its understandable but.. no i need to reign in this situation and handle it before we get dragged into another war.
"Yasaka i promise you on my name as Leviathan, no as Serafall, we Maous shall indeed handle it. Please calm down so we can continue our discussion."
"Sera as a friend i give you the benefit of the doubt, but if that child isnt found alive i PROMISE YOU the entirety of the yokai faction both Chinese and Japanese will wage war on the devil community as a whole."
I can't help but let a sigh escape my lips at the thought of having to deal with both sides of the Yokai faction for the actions of one devil. Why cant we just all be friends. I look over at Hibari only to see him eyes staring the ceiling with a dead look that promises pain to someone. That child is probably the only family he has left and it's being used as a blood bank. Wait a second the Phenex tears! If they're made with blood as the main ingredient! Shit!
"Serafall" i can't help but Flinch when i hear that cold voice coming from Hibari "I shall be personally taking a trip to the Phenex Family Territory. And so help me if i find so much as a trace of undiluted Phoenix energy I'll burn down the whole Territory."
I gulp because he has every right to retaliate but lets hope it doesnt come to that. "I promise we will thoroughly investigate please give us some time to check into it. No matter how well they hide something we should be able to find at least a trace. We didnt think to look into them but now that we have an idea i promise we will find them."
How useless are we Maou if our own people are going around causing Racial genocide. Ajuka should be informed as soon as possible we need to know ever thing the Rithes family did before becoming the Phenex. Ugh and they're territory is the fourth biggest in the underworld. To do a thorough search of that area could take months. But its necessary or else this would be enough to respark a flame of war. We're still low in numbers and divided so we cant afford that. Should I bring him in? They could definitely help and avoiding this war is definitely necessary.
"I think we should call in Azazel as well. He can definitely help and he would want to avoid war as much as us."
"I agree with that plus the fallen is closer to the Phenex territory so they might find something we missed" agrees Tiamat.
"As long as we find the child i don't care, the Yokai still hasn't forgotten the nekoshou incident do not repeat the same mistake Sera" warned Yasaka. I sigh but nod my head. I should really start training a replacement, i just want to make a tv show and live my life. All this heavy stuff is too much for me.
Turning to Hibari he looks at me before saying "Ill give you 3 months to search and find if they have the other Phoenix or not Sera and if not you cannot blame me for killing them all."
This is as much as i can ask for and i know it. I just nod before standing up and teleporting away. It seems as if im not going to get a break for a while. Got to do this steathily otherwise they could kill the Phoenix to destroy the evidence. Ugh lets get started.

But damn i dont want to change canon too much cuz i still want Rias to wipe the floor with Riser. That would be hilarious. I just take a heavy sigh before looking at Tiamat and Zatouji.
"Thank you for telling me of my birth origins. Ive always wondered about why my parents were regular people" i lie.
"Dont mention it. I should head back to the forest to keep the familiars in check. It was nice meeting you, youre always welcome in the forest." With a nod from him and a wave from Tiamat they leave the scene. Now its just me and Yasaka. Kunuo left as soon as things got serious, lucky girl. But whats Yasaka thinking now?
"Yasaka-san i wish we couldve met under better circumstances."
"As do i Hibari-san. Under normal circumstances Id be glad to invite you to the faction but until Serafall finds the evidence on the Phenex family the last thing the Yokai faction needs is another person for rebels to
try and rally under."
"I completely understand, i have no intention to live under anyones banner except my own but if you ever need anything or you just need to speak and have someone who can listen you can always call me."
"I appreciate that sentiment Hibari-san. Also may i ask you a favour?"
"Hmm?"
"Could i ask you to carry half of the Kyoto Ley Lines? I was going to have Kunuo carry it when she was older but if its you..."
"Im sorry can you explain more?"
"Of course. The Kyoto ley lines purifies senjutsu for all Yokai faction in Japan, without it most of us would run amok. Its pure magic and its needs a container. Most magic resistance containers would only last a few months so they had to tie it to The Phoenix and Nine tail clans. but after the Phoenixes disappeared i had to channel it all and due to so much power now i cant leave Kyoto because the ley lines keep me here."
"Thats a very interesting thing. So if i take half you can leave kyoto?"
"Basically yes and it would also give you a power boost as well."
"What if instead i gave you something that has a strong enough magic resistance?"
"Hibari-san my people have been searching for something strong enough for decades. You can't seriously expect me to believe--"
Her eyes widen as i pull out 1lb of sea stone.
*THUMP* "WHAT IS THIS MATERIAL?"
"Sea stone, it holds a natural aura so it should resonate with the natural Ley Line energy."
She reaches over and touches it and her eyes shakes as it clicks that this is an opportunity to finally be free since that 1lb of seastone is enough to hold 1/4 of the ley line energy she's carrying.
"Do you have more of this stuff? If so ill be glad to purchase it from you!" she asks excitedly in a bow.
"Keep it" i respond while taking out another 2lbs "Consider it my way of asking you on a date outside of Kyoto."
She smiles a nice little smile before saying. "Id love to."
