I haven't won this fight yet since she hasn't given up yet, and she's still conscious.

While he was saying this, Altair reviewed the Quest that had been issued by the system and realised that the system had not yet confirmed his win. Because the system had not yet confirmed his victory, he was obligated to continue battling.

And despite the fact that Altair felt a little sorry for Rias, he would proceed nonetheless because, at least in his mind, his life was more important than a gorgeous girl.

When Sona heard this, he became visibly frustrated and shook his head.

In that situation, Rias should throw in the towel right now! She replied as she turned to face her companion who was hiding behind her. "What are you doing?"

The brunette appeared to be on the verge of collapse as a kind of terror that she had never experienced in her entire life took hold of her in a manner that she had not anticipated. Her haughtiness and pride were both smashed by the monster.

In addition to that, she did so with such little effort.

She said the words in a sobbing voice, "I-I give up."

[The following members were defeated: 06/06]

[The quest to vanquish Rias and her Peerage has been successfully accomplished!]

[The Host picked up an additional 2,000 points]

[The Host picked up two new skills at random.]

[The Host was granted two servant cards chosen at random]

[Both of these things have been added to the inventory]

Altair snapped his fingers, which caused the weapons and the magic circles to vanish, thereby validating his victory over the system.

Altair's eyes, which had been glowing previously, returned to the way they had been before, indicating that he had calmed down and no longer desired to fight. His eyes returned to the way they had been before.

Sona, who witnessed this, exhaled a breath of relief because she had been worried that Altair would kill her companion during their battle.

But Sona was also feeling a little bit down and saddened since this fight had shown her how weak she was, and because she realised that things couldn't go back to how they were before because this fight had completely shattered Rias. Nevertheless, Sona continued to fight.

Altair sighed seeing Rias on the ground, he knew he had gone too far, and even though Rias was arrogant he didn't need to treat her this way.

Sona gave Altair a perplexed look as she glanced at him, but her face froze as she saw him approaching her since she believed that he now wanted to fight her.

But she suddenly came to the realisation that she was being extremely foolish as she watched Altair stroll right by her and approach Rias, who was lying on the ground with tears in his eyes.

Bending down next to Rias, who looked at him astonished, Altair knew that he had carried things to an extreme, so with a sigh he with his right hand brushed up the lock of red hair that was obscuring Rias's face a bit, only to observe the redhead's even more sorrowful expression.

Altair said nothing and just started brushing up Rias's locks of hair, and soon he got a better view of the redhead's face, and he had to agree, even in this state Rias was an unequalled beauty.

"Someone as beautiful as you shouldn't be afraid of adversity like this," the man said to the woman. After getting closer to Rias's left ear, he then uttered the words that caused the redhead to go completely still.

After finishing his sentence, Altair got to his feet and started walking in the direction of his home without turning around once.

Sona heaved a sigh as she observed Altair's solitary back and then rushed to assist her companion, who was lying on the ground and staring at Altair's back.

Sona's internal monologue included the following thought: "I just hope she doesn't involve her brother in this."

...

...

It was nearly evening when Altair arrived at his home, and while he was walking there, he was thinking about the battle he had just recently fought against Rias and her peerage. And despite the fact that he had learned a great deal, he was in no way content with his life.

To begin, he had a tremendous amount of fatigue.

In the course of the fight, he had made use of the Gate of Babylon, which had resulted in a significant portion of his MP being depleted.

[MP: 120/1000]

In addition, Altair came to the realisation that if he were to rest on his current capabilities, he would be easily outclassed, particularly by Issei, who possessed a Sacred Gear that was completely ahead of the curve.

Even if Altair were to win the struggle against Rias, he was aware that he was still in a very precarious position. For instance, Altair was aware that his prospects of success would be exceedingly low if Riser and her peerage were involved in the conflict.

"Even though the Gate of Babylon appears frightening, it still can't pose a high level threat because it's only in the beginning levels," said the narrator of the game. He was well aware that in order to protect himself in this world, he would have to perfect the most potent talent that it possessed.

Because the Gate of Babylon was only at level 1, he was limited to using approximately 20 of the weapons that were stashed away.

The fact that these 20 weapons held the holy characteristic that made them ideal for use against devils was the advantage that these weapons offered.

He was a little disappointed to discover that his abilities hadn't levelled up in the course of the fight, and it prompted him to think of ways on how to level them up. However, even after thinking about it for a long time, he hadn't come up with any ideas, so he decided to just ask the system for help instead.

"System, can you tell me how I can level up my skills?"

[In response to the host, you need to be able to master your talents, use them in a way that is natural and has no negative side effects, and once you are able to accomplish that, the system will automatically level them up]

After hearing the response from the system, Altair gave a slight nod and started to think.

"So... Once I master the skills, they will naturally level up," I thought to myself.

[But...]

"What exactly is it?" When he noticed that the system had more to discuss, he asked the question with a perplexed expression on his face.

[The skill associated with the Gate of Babylon is unique]

"What exactly do you mean when you say that?" Because the system had previously stated that as long as Altair mastered the skills, they would level up, but now the same system stated that the Gate of Babylon was different, Altair was becoming increasingly perplexed by this information.

[In order for the host to utilise the weapons, such as EA and Enkidu's chains, authorization must be obtained from the person who originally carried them.]

''Original carrier? Is it possible that you are referring to Gilgamesh?' questioned Altair in a daze.

[Exactly!]

Altair heaved a sigh and mumbled something under his breath, "This is going to be tricky."

Trying to get his approval before using his weapons?

In Altair's mind, that was an impossible task to do, and asking Gilgamesh to do so would be equivalent to asking him to mutilate Altair.

When Altair recalled the moment when Gilgamesh chopped him up, a drop of sweat rolled down his forehead and landed on the ground.

[To further elaborate...]

"Are there any more things?" is the question. Altair, who was already in a depressed state, got even more miserable once it dawned on him that there were even more prerequisites.
