Chapter 8: Bow Dao and the Upcoming War
"What do you think of when you think about a bow?" Ling Tian started.
"Think of the bow as not a tool, but as an extension of your body, think of it as your companion."
Around Ling Tian, enlightenment aura surrounded him, he planned to help Gong Shen a little bit before allowing him to enlighten himself and walk his own path.
If he interferes too much with his path then that will affect him in the long run in the future.

Originally, Gong Shen was only close to reaching the Bow Intent realm, but reaching higher realms of the Dao is very hard and you must walk the path of enlightenment yourself.
Gong Shen was a very smart man and did not ask questions as to why his master was so knowledgeable.

It only took one hour for Ling Tian to go back as he used the cultivation of a Peak Martial Emperor.
He could have gone faster but he didn't want to expose himself.
There were only 6 hours left until the trial began for the Divine Enlightenment Pagoda.

The area was pretty packed and the organizations were split up and you could see the flags they used to represent themselves.
All of the great 10 sects were there besides the 7th ranked Divine Saber Sect.
There were many other sects, clans, and organizations that wanted a piece of the pie. Even the lower-ranked organizations wanted the crumbs and fished in muddy water.
They only dared to do so because there was a restriction in cultivation level which allowed them to participate.
6 hours later and the trial gate started to vibrate, creating quakes in the vicinity, and was brightly illuminating the radius.
The majestic and awe-inspiring golden gate opened and you could see a mix of azure and spatial matter mixed inside the gate opening where you would be teleported inside.
Everyone knew that there was going to be a chaotic war both inside and also the outside after the trial was over as the sects would fight over who gained control over the Divine Enlightenment Pagoda.
Ling Tian knew it was time to disguise.
He disguised as a decrepit old man with age spots, he wore a white and black yin yang robe with a conical hat.
His eyes were sunken in but you could see through his eyes that there were an endless void and numerous galaxies and stars.
Ling Tian decided to name this disguise, 'Old Man Spacetime'.
Ling Tian thought numerous treasures into existence to trade with for in the trial.
There was Nine Lives Ganoderma, Rejuvenation Wood, Supreme Enlightenment Pill, Fire King Lotus, Tai Sovereign Sword, Divine Black Tortoise cultivation manual, and more.
He planned to trade the lower-ranked treasures inside the trial to the disciples, and the high-ranking treasures outside after the trial.
Also, during the war inside and outside, he would be selling healing and qi pills to see how that would turn the tables.
He wanted to see them grit their teeth at the price and take the pill, once they take the pill, others would come running to buy the other pills.
How exciting...
