Chapter 33: 31: Battle Between Boys (I)
This chapter is longer than the usual ones... Still quite short, comparing it to other fics... But, anyway, Enjoy!

"Yo! It's done." I shout, entering the room.
"Did you hurt him?" he asked with a mix of exasperation and suspicion.
"What!? No! Of course not! Do you really think I'd do that to that old man?" I reply.
Well, I would, if he was being difficult...
Seongha then looked at me with a deadpan look and said, "Yes. I think you would."
"Now, that's just hurtful!"

It's been a week since that deal, and I was just sitting in Seongha's office, reviewing the Mad Doctor's research.
...
Ugh. This is years' worth of notes... It's going to take an eternity to go through these...
Eh, fuck it. I'll leave it to the other guys in the Investigation Department... Let me just skip to the most recent one...

There it is! Alright...

God damn! That was long...
Alright, to shorten the entry, the Doctor wanted to create a new organ inside the animals.
Why? Since, animals apparently, can't produce their own Force Energy. There is a way for them to have the energy, but it'd need an Awakened One...
It's just like what I was doing to Scotus.
Back to the notes, he wrote that the new "organ", or Energy Sphere as he called it, would disappear from the Subjects' body, and would die from a heart attack, just days later.
Now, that is not entirely correct, because according to the story, Wooin freed some of the test subjects, and deceived the Doctor...
Sigh... Since I need to test this on other animals before doing it on Scy... it looks like I'm reverting to my Mad Doctor phase...

Two days pass, and I was in Seongha's room again, asking if the Investigation Dept. found anything worthwhile in the notes...
But, suddenly his telephone rings. He puts it on speaker and someone on the other side of the phone said,
"Sir, Wooin is fighting with The Shinhwa's Chairwoman's brother..."
"What!? That kid..." Seongha sighed and facepalmed.
Ooooh... This is interesting~ I know this happened in the story, but I'd like to see this with my own eyes...
"Alright. I'm coming," he said and hang up.
"Wait- Seongha. Let me take care of it." I tell him.
I don't have anything to do, anyway. I'm still waiting for the animals, so I can't start my experiments. Plus, as I said, it's exciting to see them fight with my own eyes.

{General POV}
Once Shinji was out of the room, Seongha dialed a number. He then said, "Hello. I'm sending in Shinji instead of me. Please keep an eye on him, if he ever does anything out of hand."
After that, he hang up and thought, 'But, I'm not too worried about Shinji. I know that he's going to take care of it... right?...'
...
Shinji quickly got in a car and told the location to the driver.
'I totally would have used my Ability, to get there faster... but these fucking muggles are afraid of the unknown, so I have to make do with the car...' thought the teen in annoyance.
...
After a few minutes, he arrived at the scene.
Wooin raised his arms in a fighting stance, while Jisuk got ready to punch, but, Shinji interrupted the fight before they could do anything more.
"Hey, stop it, idiots," Shinji spoke.
Jisuk immediately sweatdropped when he recognized the raven-haired teen.
"It's you..!" Jisuk shouted, pointing a finger at me.
Shinji just smirked towards Jisuk, but then asked the other teen in a serious manner, "Wooin, how can you make a scene when we've just let you go?"
"Why? Are you guys fighting for a girl or something?" he added, approaching Wooin.
Jisuk quickly got over his shock and said, "Wait... The Union let him go? So, you're an Awakened One?! Fuck, no wonder..."
He then smirked excitedly and added, "That's good news! We can face off properly."
The winds blew intensely once Jisuk said those words, and Wooin only got angrier.
'Wind!? Did he... use this to injure him?!' thought Wooin angrily.
Red energy started radiating out of Wooin and he started saying,
"You're not the only one who thinks it's good news! I won't need to hold back as-"
But, Wooin was cut off by a hand-chop to his head.
"The hell are you saying? If you guys use your Abilities, it would attract the attention from the civilians. Both of you would be in deep shit if that happens." Shinji reminded them.
Both Jisuk and Wooin stopped... But after a few moments, they heard someone say, "What's going on here, now?"
"Inhyuk!?" exclaimed Jisuk.
A man in a green suit walked toward the group, and glanced at Jisuk, which seemed to say, 'You are in trouble~'. But, he looked at Shinji, and said,
"Shinji Lee. What is the Union doing around here without giving advanced notice, again? This is Shinhwa's territory!"
"I know... But, what are you doing here? You know that nobody can interfere with the Union's actions..."
Shinji looked at Inhyuk sternly... but a few seconds later, both burst out laughing. Jisuk and Wooin just looked at them with confusion.
"Ha... That was funny, Inhyuk..." stated Shinji, wiping a tear from his eye.
"I know! Anyway... how much did you annoy that bastard, Seongha, today?" asked Inhyuk with a snicker.
"Ah~ You should have seen his face when I entered his office," Shinji replied with a grin.
Jisuk exclaimed, his face, confused, "Oi! What the hell is happening?!"
[A/N: Just some men, bonding over somebody's sufferings...]
But before they could reply, Wooin asked, "Sir... Is there no other way I can fight Jisuk Yoo?... If the problem is being seen, we can just fight in a place with no people... I still have some unfinished business with him."
"Yeah!" Jisuk added.
"Sigh... I swear, kids these days. Do you have any suggestions, Shinji?"
The mentioned teen answered, "Well since we're in the Shinhwa's territory, we could use your facilities..."
"Alright, then. I think I can do that... Let's go."
