Chapter 41: 39: Klein Brothers (III)

A teen moved at a fast speed, sending a barrage of punches toward the other Klein Brother.
Duran, finding an opening, started conjuring a fireball, only to be interrupted by an attack from a roughed-up teenager.
"Not bad..." he said in an eery tone.
He then shouted, "I guess I have to take care of you first!", sending several fireballs toward the teen.
"No! Wooin!" shouted the other uniformed teenager.
Wooin grimaced and raised his hand, intercepting the attacks with his Ability.
"Jiwoo, don't worry about me! Focus on the fight!" he shouted.
"O-okay!" Jiwoo replied, sending another barrage of punches toward Duran. The criminal just kept propelling fireballs at the teen in hopes of injuring him, but to no avail, Jiwoo kept dodging them.
After a few more back and forths between the two parties, Duran finally got consumed by his anger from always missing his attacks.
"Enough is enough!" he shouted, summoning dozens of fireballs.
"Die!" he roared, launching them at Wooin.
Jiwoo desperately tried to get to Wooin, to push him away from the attacks, but he was getting fatigued from the continuous use of his Ability, making him move significantly slower than before.
But, before the fireballs made contact with them, a strong blast of wind pushed them away from the fireballs, just in time.
"Hey! Are you guys alive?!" shouted a panting Jisuk.
"Jisuk!" exclaimed both of the teens.
"You..." muttered an enraged Duran.
The white-haired teen quickly got in front of the injured and exhausted teenagers, and whispered, "Can you guys still fight?"
"I... only have a tiny bit of energy left..." replied Wooin.
"I can still fight, Jisuk!" Jiwoo exclaimed, exhaustion was clear in his voice.
"Alright. Jiwoo, follow my lead. Wooin, you protect us from any attacks if that bastard decides to use any underhanded tricks." Jisuk informed them.
He attacked Duran with several wind blades. The adult dodged Jisuk's attack, but that was when Jiwoo came out and punched his abdomen a couple of times.
Seeing an opening, Jisuk sent another wind blade toward Duran. And Wooin, seeing Jiwoo take a step back, decided to join in with one last explosion.
Wooin later fell unconscious since it took all of his remaining energy to send out that last attack. Jiwoo then ran at the teen in concern, "Wooin!"
But... as the dust from the explosion settled, Jisuk could see Duran still standing even after all of the attacks, albeit now obviously injured.
"I'll kill you al-!" Duran started to shout but was cut off when he felt a shock of electricity spread throughout his body.
Duran, now unconscious from the shock, fell down, revealing a long-haired man standing behind him.

"Man... This was not an exciting match, at all." Shinji sighed, walking towards the struggling Declan.
"Shut... up..." the man said in difficulty.
Shinji squints his eyes, smiles, and takes a step to the right, dodging a beam of fire from the man.
"I expected more from an International Criminal..." he said, waving his hand and summoning a pillar of ice. Shinji squinted his eye again, and he saw that the man still wanted to send out an explosion, so, he just strengthened the pressure of his Gyrokinesis.
Now that Declan was now struggling even more, the teen dropped the Ice Pillar on him.
Seeing no reactions from the criminal, Shinji concluded that he was knocked out. Still, he approached his body and touched his head for a moment.
After that...
'Hm? This familiar energy...' thought Shinji.
That was when a woman arrived.
"Hey~ You're here, Jiyoung? Ara~ Were you worried about me~?" asked Shinji playfully, and also wrapped Declan's hands in extremely cold ice.
"You defeated one of the Klein Brothers?" Jiyoung asked in surprise, trying to ignore his previous statement.
"Yep! Did you expect for me to lose?" questioned the teen with fake gloominess.
Jiyoung sighed and replied, "No. I didn't expect you to be here. But, that's beside the point... Where's Jisuk?"
Shinji cleared his throat and answered, "I sent him to help his buddies."
"Caw! Caw!"
"Speaking of which, I'll lead you there now," Shinji told Jiyoung, seeing the bird flying above them.
...
After wrapping the criminal in water, they followed the bird to the other teenagers.
Arriving, they saw a profusely sweating Jisuk, and an unconscious Wooin being carried by Jiwoo.
"Hey! You guys are alive!" said Shinji.
"Chairwoman!" exclaimed Jiwoo, but he continued with a confused tone, "And... Sir Shinji Lee?", to which the mentioned teen just waved at him.
"Did you three manage to take him down?" asked Jiyoung, looking at the unconscious Duran.
"O-oh, that... U-Uhm..."
"Yeah. We took him down." Jisuk finally spoke.
"Uhuh." voiced out Shinji, examining the body.
'Yep. The bastard's burnt... 'He' definitely helped them.' he thought.
Shinji then looked at Jiyoung knowingly, and the Chairwoman seemed to receive the message.
...
Jisuk contemplated telling them the truth, but when remembering what 'the man' told him, he decided against it.

[A few moments ago...]
Duran, now unconscious from the shock, fell down, revealing a long-haired man standing behind him.
Jisuk was immediately on guard and he was encompassed by intense air.
"Mr. Kayden?" voiced out Jiwoo in surprise.
"Wait, Jiwoo, you know him?" asked Jisuk, the wind around him slowly calming down.
"U-uhm, yeah..." he answered with a nervous smile.
As Kayden approached them, Duran seemed to regain consciousness, and slowly rose.
"D-die..." he said in a raspy voice, activating his Ability.
Kayden turned around and raised his hand. That was when a lightning bolt hit the criminal, finally taking him down, once and for all.
"Alright. It will only complicate things if they see me here, so I'm leaving. But..." the man started talking.
Kayden put his hand on Jisuk's shoulder and whispered, "You're a smart kid. Don't blab about me to anyone, okay? Tell anyone, and I'll kill you."
"Alright then. Take care." the man said, disappearing in a flash.

P.S:
From the sort-of poll, a majority of you guys wanted no Harem. That's why Shinji will only have one love interest. I may add one more in the future, so that would make it two. But, I don't think two love interests would make it a Harem, right?
