David just smiled after hearing Hideki's comment.
"Wow, that was something I won't stand a chance against" Mira said.
"Don't worry with enough practice you can which is why you need to come here every day to train Mira" Renji said.
"Uncle Renji I will leave now. I am already tired...I'll just go home and sleep now" David said to which Renji nodded.
After talking for a few minutes with Hideki and Mira David left to go home. Recently David has been trying to heal wounds with water bending but to no avail.
The next day every one of Class 1-A was sitting and chatting with each other when Aizawa entered the classroom. David, Momo, Mina, and Kirishima were discussing yesterday's events
"Everyone settle down and stay quiet. Your fight isn't over yet" Aizawa said.
"Whatt??" Mina shouted.
"I meant to say that 2 weeks later is the U.A sports festival. You all will be fighting against other classes. And as you guys are from Class 1-A, other classes will target you" Aizawa said
"Don't you think after yesterday's incident the school should postpone or cancel any public functions?" Jiro asked.
"What if the villains attacked again?" Kirishima asked.
"There will always be some villains trying to attack you. That doesn't mean that we cower in fear. The only solution is to become strong and keep on with your normal life. And yesterday only 2 of them were able to escape so they will need time to gather more villains" Aizawa said.
"That does make sense. Now I am all pumped up for this sports festival." Kirishima said.
"I am gonna show all you extras what a hero is by winning this festival" Bakugo shouted standing up.
"Come on dude, we know that you did take out that monster yesterday but we aren't weak either." Kaminari said. As Bakugo heard about the nomu comment his eyes inadvertently moved towards David who was just looking with an indifferent gaze.
After the lecture finished Aizawa left the class. The rest of the class went like usual. When the students of Class 1-A wanted to leave they could hear a commotion outside their class.
"What's going on? Why are other classes here?" Kaminari asked.
"They are just scouting the competition. Move you fucking extras and don't block our way" Bakugo shouted.
"So these are students of Class 1-A..heh they don't look anything special. Just took down a handful of villains and they start to think they are heroes. What a disappointment" A blonde kid with a mocking smile on his face said. David recognized him as Monoma from Class 1-B.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU ASSHOLE" Bakugo said as he was about to pounce on Monoma but Iida stopped him.
"Bakugo don't behave like that in front of other students. They will think that Class 1-A is full of delinquents." Iida said.
"How dare they underestimate us like this." Kirishima said.
Then a girl came from behind and made her fists bigger and smacked Monoma on his head enough to knock him out.
"I am Kendo, the Class Rep of 1-B. I am sorry for Monoma's behavior" Kendo said.
When all this was happening a purple-haired droopy-eyed kid came ahead and said loudly
"CLASS 1-A, I HITOSHI SHINSO FROM CLASS 1-B DECLARE WAR ON YOU ALL" Shino shouted and everyone went quiet.
"Heh" That's the only sound that could be heard and everyone looked towards the source of the sound only to see David stand up from his chair with a smile on his face. He came ahead face to face.
"War on us? really? Is that how you beg someone to take you seriously?" David said with a mocking tone that made Shinso his teeth.
"Hey, David don't belittle them like that. You shouldn't talk to them like that" Iida said while making robot-like hand movements. David looked at him and just waved his hand casually creating a weak gale of wind that hit Iida and made him fall back inside the class. Iida wasn't injured at all because of that. Everyone was shocked seeing how easily he did it and even the fact that he did it.
"If you have so much sympathy for them then you can go and join Class 1-B, and we can bring her (pointing towards Kendo) here in 1-A. And this is the last time you come in my way and leave unscathed Iida. And you jokers the fact that you had to come here and declare war and shit means that you seek our approval and that says it all." David said and started walking towards the main exit and everyone unconsciously made way for him.
Momo chased behind David and started walking beside him. For a couple of seconds, she was looking at David who was chatting on his phone.
"Did you have to be so hard on them? And warning Iida?" Momo asked in a low voice. She had never seen David get angry so she didn't know how he is going to react.
"I was hard on them so that they don't take our silence as our cowardice and escalate the situation. You and Iida being the Class Rep and Vice Rep should have cleared the way before they started talking. And about warning Iida that because he can do things his way but if he tries to push them on me then he has another thing coming. As a Class Rep, you didn't do anything. You need to learn from Kendo" David said as he sat in a cab and drove off.
'He is right. I am the Class rep and I didn't do anything when that blonde guy insulted us. Their class Rep stepped in instantly and stopped him. Am I really worthy of being a Class Rep?' Momo felt her confidence plummet.
While all this was going on a man child was throwing a tantrum in a bar.
"I will kill those kids. Each and every one of them from that class." Tomura said sitting in front of a screen where a man with pipes connected to his mouth was seen.
"You don't have to get impatient for such a small thing. Learn for your mistakes Tomura and launch an attack again. There will be many opportunities for you. The white-haired student defeating the Nomu was certainly a surprise but it was our first nomu so it definitely had some major weaknesses. Kurogiri find some new people for our cause." the man on the screen said and the screen went blank.
