Chapter 36: The pain of Improvement!

With a flick of her wrist, she let her black robe flutter. A crack sounded before a black vortex appeared. 

"Woah? What is that spell? Are you going to kill me, master?" Sigurd joked while watching Medea's moody face crunch together with a small pout.

"Are you a fool? Keep watching!"

He felt a sense of power over Medea but didn't want to take it too far.

Their connection felt weak, but it reminded him of the feeling he shared with Eva, and it caused his heart to become filled with desire and avarice.

'I guess I am greedier than I thought.'

At first, it seemed sinister, but after several moments, the portal transformed to show the village and all the beautiful Elven buildings.

"Wow, it's a teleportation spell!?" Eva's cute voice echoed as she seemed to find the magic amazing and watched it with glistening eyes. 

"Enter first, Eva. I have something to discuss with Sigurd."
