Chapter 5: Beast Hunt
The next day Nacht got ready for his first adventure inside the Magical Forest. He just strapped himself with a sword.
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you, master?" Lis asked Nacht
"No, I'll be fine," He said and darted off, jumping on the trees. Anyone who saw his edgy ass look would appreciate the great job he did by evolving backward to monke.
Nacht still can't teleport as he still hasn't got his grimoire. He did have some expectations about it. After all, the great transmigrator cannot survive with a generic ass 3 leaf clover that everyone and their moms have. He wanted to be special, to the point he envied kids who were autistic.
"Will I get the same generic 3 clover one?" he asked himself. How could he be content as a generic ass character?
"I will be so strong that 3 Leaf Clover bends over and let me fuck it!!!!" He promises to himself.
{Holy fuck, dude! The heck you talking about!} Gimo asked, weirded by her supposed master, who was a delusional crackhead.
Seeing his master grinning ear to ear made him, a devil, shiver to the core. He has never seen a person with this dense barrier protecting his virginity. His master's virgin shields are so dense that it warps reality around it.
Going deeper inside the forest, he came across some weak herbivores and mana beasts. Most of them ran away, hearing him approach at high speeds.
"Were there herbivores in forests too? Though there will only be man-swallowing monsters and erotic slimes here..."
{Well, genius, that's not how ecosystems work... } interjected Gimo and stared at me like Nacht was stupid.
Nacht has grown up reading these novels and mangas, and they never showed a single herbivore. They are ignored as air resistance in physics because they don't influence the plot much.
'Then why the fuck they showed the MC to kill and eat carnivores like wolf and shit when he can get a deer or something.'
This mind-shocking revelation shook him so much that he didn't realize it when he approached a herd of bull-shaped mana beasts. They were huge, and their muscles could give the straightest person in the room a stiff hard-on.
{You are thinking something lewd again? Motherfucker they are ANIMALS. I'd have at least respected your choice if it was a boy or something}
"Stfu, it's my right!! And I can be with whoever I want."
{That doesn't change the fact that it's weird}
"Hey, just stop, okay? I don't want to get canceled or something if it exists here."
While Nacht and Gimo were bickering, each Mana Beasts was in complete overdrive serious mode. The small thing on this human's shoulder was emitting an evil aura they had never seen.
The human accompanying 'it' was no weaker than the 'thing' too. They were casually chatting about their sexuality in a fucking jungle. A female bull started blushing after hearing about how this strong human got sexually attracted to beasts. She muttered something that could only logically be translated to 'baka~.'
The Alpha Bull got furious when this chad of a human stole his wife in less than a minute. He charged with his horn with a bellow that could be heard miles away.
Startled by the sudden outburst of the Alpha, all of the other bulls also charged toward the human kid. Although they won't interfere in Alpha's fight in typical situations, right now, they can feel the ominous little shit-stain sitting on the kid's shoulders.
Nacht seeing this, quickly shadow-stepped out of their way. Shadow step is a quick teleportation spell he has made without his grimoire. Although he can't teleport to long distances, he can teleport to visible spaces under 20m.
He teleported himself on a tree branch but underestimated the bulls' power; they broke the tree on which he was standing with a charge. Nacht had to shadow-step again to a safe distance.
Finding the closest bull, he used a minimal amount of shadow magic to bind all the legs of the beast and charged with his sword. Decapitating the bull in one go.
The alpha bull charged with much more force than his peers, but all his advances were either avoided by shadow-step or countered by restricting his movements.
Gimodelo was impressed seeing his master actually fight. He kind of expected this, seeing him train like a madman but in action. His figure looked mesmerizing, almost divine. The black shadow cast upon the area looked like the holiest of magic.
Even the bulls were shocked at this mastery of magic. It was as if the shadows were obeying this kid's commands.
"Let's test my raw strength" saying this, Nacht disappeared for a second and reappeared on the Alpha Bull's right. Punching him so hard that he was thrown 40 meters away. The bull bellowed in pain that could be understood by all intelligent beings.
Seeing this, a female bull approached with stars in her eyes. Only to get hit by another punch of Nacht, but instead of a painful bellow, the sound that the bull made was of... joy. The bull continued to approach him only to get punched off flying.
This surprised Nacht; he was confused about why this female bull enjoyed getting hit by him. Seeing this, other bulls lost it and just stood with a face that said, 'bruh, really?'.
On the other side, Gimo hid his face as if he got a second-hand embarrassment.
Seeing the shameful display of his wife, the broken heart Alpha bull coughed up blood and died.
After a few minutes, Nacht got bored of these bulls and walked away.
"That was certainly weird; what kinda weirdo enjoys taking pain?" said Nacht as he was jumping towards another area of forest.
{You really are a dumbfuck aren't you?}
Confused by his slav... ahem~ friend devil's words, he started pondering, only to conclude that she liked 'fighting' and had an indomitable fighting spirit.
{Really? That's the best excuse you can come up with?}
After a few moments going in a certain direction, Nacht found some recently burnt woods and stones arranged as a campfire, proving that someone else was there too.
In this deep forest, they would either be bandits or Magic Knights. No matter who, Nacht had already decided to pay them a visit.
"Let's see if something is interesting."
