Chapter 35: Chapter 35: An Idol's Locked Room 2
After Yoko finishing her story, she carefully looks at Seiya who was holding his chin as he ask.
"Did you turn on the heater when you left your apartment this day?"
"No, I turned it off.."
"Have you ever met the victim recently?"
"No..."
"Who has the keys to the apartment?"
"I have the original key while I made a spare key for Manager Eiichi..."
Seiya saw Yoko taking out her key while Manager Eiichi didn't, he then glance at him as he ask coldly.
"Where is yours?"
"I.... lost it 2-3 days ago..?"
"Lost it? sounds very weird for a personal manager to lose his idol's important belonging."
Seiya ask the CSI to check the victim's body in which they found a similar key to Yoko's key in his pocket this made Seiya's expression colder while Yoko slowly back away from Manager Eiichi. Mori Kogoro pointed at Manager Eiichi as he made a certain assumption, he shouted.
"So you are the criminal! Yoko's Manager!" -Kogoro
"Huh?! That's impossible! How can I be a killer when we were in your office a few hours ago!!"
Eiichi Yamagishi loudly refuted Kogoro's accusation as he used the alibi of them being in Kogoro Detective Agency for a while. Kogoro spoke while rubbing his head then laughing..
"Is that so *rubbing his head* HAHAHA, I forgot..."
Inspector Megure felt his head producing the emotion of anger as he remembered the old days when Kogoro screwed up, Seiya secretly order the CSI to send people to Akiyoshi Fujie and Eiichi Yamagishi's home with a search warrant and few things that they need to find as he wanted to confirm some things. Seiya then saw Conan sneakily entering the crime scene in which he scolded with a frown.
"Can you guys keep the kid away from sneaking in! This is a crime scene not a playground."
"Sorry, Seiya-san"
Takagi apologize with sincerity because he didn't expect to be unconscious without anyone knowing a few minutes ago, he didn't know Conan freaking used an anesthetic needle from his watch and shot him with it. Takagi could only grab Conan's collar again as he yelled about finding a clue. which made Takagi stop and ask.
"Well what did you see?"
"An earing! underneath the sofa!"
"Go move the sofa."
Inspector Megure ask the CSI to move it, in which they found the so called Earring. Takagi wanted to put Conan down so that he could help with the case but Seiya spoke.
"Takagi-san! Don't put the child down, remember your oath taking and swearing under the Japanese flag!"
Seiya reviewed how police academy and police system works, before they could become a police they need to something like a doctor swearing on their oath taking, in which limits their power and strengthen their belief so they can focus to serving for justice and righteousness and if anyone saw them breaking it, they could sue them should they not follow the protocols and the law. Takagi pulled Conan away from the crime scene even if he used a child's tantrum, Conan could only glare at Seiya as he thought.
'This guy is a bastard! even though I have helped him!'
"Miss Yoko is this your earring or have you seen this earring before?" -Seiya
"It is not my earring, but I...have seen Yuko-san wear a pair before.."
Inspector Megure ask Miwako to bring Yuko as Seiya carefully held Yoko shoulder with his glove hands as he said with a gentle expression.
"Miss Yuko, you have nothing to worry about nor you should be guilty about your ex-boyfriend's death."
"But, he is dead in my apartment..."
"Remember! people make their own choices, their choices maybe influenced by other people or things. But remember! They did it within their own thoughts! You are not to be blamed for someone's mistake or problem!"
Yoko couldn't help but cry as Mouri Kogoro blamed this part to Seiya while trying to make Yoko feel better. Seiya shook his head, as he analyzed everything. Although remembering the plot was useful, he could feel that something was off like a butterfly effect. When Yuko arrived, she arrogantly spoke as she denies everything while walking towards a chair near a liberty statue lighter.
"Stop joking around! Why am I a suspect? The murder happened in Yoko's room! So you should suspect Yoko, right? and beside this is my first time I've been here! "
Before Inspector Megure spoke, Seiya motioned him to pause as he said.
"Miss Yuko, we are not suspecting you for murder. But I am suspecting you for Trespassing which is a crime!"
"Like I said, this is the first time I've been here! Weren't you listening?!"
She scolded Seiya who gave her the indifference expression as he spoke while she used the liberty statue lighter.
"Then may I ask you, the first timer who went here. How did you know that the statue you are holding is a lighter?"
*Thunder sound!*
Yuko trembled as she stops from lighting the lighter, she then spoke in a stuttering manner.
"My friend...had a similar model..."
"Can I know what is the name of that friend that has the same model?" -Seiya
"Umn, it was..."
"You are lying, your expression and hand movements shows how nervous and anxious you are in thinking of an answer. Seriously why do people lie to each other? Is it because they want something bad to happen to someone ?"
"No its....."
"THEN WHY ARE YOU LYING!! TELL US THE TRUTH!!"
Seiya shouted in a cold yet scary expression that made Yuko Ikezawa frightened. She began to speak slowly as she stared at Seiya with fear.
"Okay!! This...isn't...my first time here...."
She explained what happened half a day ago when she wanted to find a scandal for Yoko who she was jealous and envious, she used a spare key that she stole from Manager Eiichi. After listening to the story, Mouri Kogoro said with his arms in his chest.
"So you killed him because he caught in doing something bad!"
"I said I didn't kill him!"
When they were going to start to argue, one of the CSI from outside walks in as he carefully gave Seiya the documents he asked. He cough as he motioned everyone to stop as he spoke.
"Alright! I have finish solving the case, in fact we have 2 crimes happening in this location!"

"What?!" -everyone
"The first case is a Trespassing crime by Yuko, the second case is the Second Degree Manslaughter by Mr. Eiichi Yamagishi!"
Seiya pointed his arm towards Eiichi who was shock and tries to refute using the same argument while also saying that his spare key was stolen by Yuko, in which Seiya replied while walking towards him.
"What I meant by Second Degree Manslaughter is consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another! You instigated Mr. Akiyoshi Fujie to do this incident to destroy Yoko's fame! Also did you forget, that spare keys can still be copied! There should be a burnt and edge cut mark in the copy you got from Yoko! "
He then threw some copy evidence that they taken from his computer onto his face, in which was a communication inbox of him and the victim while also some contracts of him getting transferred to another idol as a manager. Seiya then explained
"I have seen the news of the idols that have been in your care, and when you get transferred to another one. It was a mystery why they suddenly received a heavy scandal that ruined their reputation and career. Now what do you have to say for yourself! Criminal!"
Seiya then slaps him in the face as everyone gave him the disdain look, Eiichi Yamagishi who was caught in the act turned paler as he spoke honestly of his crimes. Inspector Megure still couldn't help but ask.
"Seiya-kun How can he kill himself with a knife in his back?"
"That is an easy trick! The knife handle was stuck in a Ice block where it was place on the ground, then he just set the temperature of the heater onto high so that when he died, it would look like a murder while he was holding Yoko's hair that was from her comb. You can check the comb for finger prints."
Mouri Ran and Yoko couldn't help but admire Seiya as the police arrested Yuko and the manager Eiichii for the crimes they made, Yuko couldn't help but cry as she pleaded Yoko. Which made Yoko hesitantly think, until she remembered Seiya's words of wisdom of choices being influenced by people. She then turned into a determined look as she stops the police from taking Yuko away, Yuko who was released by the police officer was starting to calm down as Yoko warned her not to do this again or else She will sue her for a misdemeanor offense. Yuko seriously nodded while saying thanks Yoko for not letting her be arrested.
After Yoko stops talking to Yuko, she went toward Seiya who was listening to Ran about his blue jacket. She then ask while blushing.
"Mr. Seiya, thank you for your help. Is it okay if I could invite you for dinner sometimes?"
"Is it okay tomorrow afternoon? I still have a job as a doctor in a school clinic. "
"That would be great~"
She happily responded before being blunt as she kissed him in the cheek then left in a hurry this scene made Mouri Kogoro heart broken as his ghost seem to rise up froom his body. His ghost couldn't help but say.
"Ms....Yoko....*Crack of Heart* She kissed someone...."
Conan felt irritated for not being able to solve a case when he is there, so he grumpily walks close to Ran who he saw giving Seiya the admiration look. This made him even more sour like Ayumi on who was pouting as she saw an idol giving her big brother a kiss. She impatiently raise her arms as she said.
"Brother hug!"
Seiya raised her up like a baby as she wipes the spot where Yoko kissed him in the cheek before kissing onto that spot. Ran couldn't help but say.
"Seiya-san is really popular..."
"Well almost popular..."
He smiled as he gave Ran a look of waiting for a kiss, she blush as she thought that he was just teasing her so she started to pull her father away onto a taxi who was still muttering about Seiya getting kissed on the cheek by his favorite idol. Seiya then took the kids onto his car in which he drove them back to their home where their parents were angry and relief as they received a call from their school that they skipped class.
