Chapter 54: Travelling to the Capital of Terra
"It's time to go, S-Seraphine"
Aster woke me up, it wasn't very early in the morning this time.
"Where are we going?"
"We are travelling to t-the Capital of Terra"

I groaned looking at Fries beside me, it meowed louder.
"Alright!"
I begrudgingly got up, Aster looked at me warily, I raised a brow at her.
"A-Are you angry?"
"Why would I be angry?"
"Because you're f-frowning"
"That doesn't necessarily mean that I'm angry Aster" I face-palmed.
"Oh…"
"Let's go"
We bathed and ate with the siblings, after that we dressed up, Sam bought us men's clothes since it is easier to wear and travel instead of wearing dresses, he gets it.
He GETS IT.
Bless his mind and soul, he gets wearing dresses is difficult.
It was small, and it fit Aster and me, she and Ishana didn't need to adjust anything, he also bought us combat boots, I love it!
But he looked at me with curiosity, while I was thanking him, maybe he hasn't encountered someone who loves this kind of clothes before? Wait this is the Victorian Era, so yeah, that explains it.
"Ready?" Sam asks.

All of us went outside and a huge Waggon was waiting for us outside, I cocked my head to the side.
"We're travelling like this?"

I went inside, and it was spacious, the seats are beds, and it's comfy, not to mention it has dressers and small cabinets, but the bed can only fit two people, it can be used as a seat but if we were to sleep it'll be crowded.
I checked the dressers and there's canned food inside, as well as spices and such, the dresses that we wore at the ball are also inside one of the dressers.
"Isn't this?"
So they didn't pawn it off or sell it, I thought they already did, I don't have any qualms about them selling the dresses.
"So" I heard Sam's voice behind me "what do you think of this?"
"It's beautiful, and big, unlike a carriage, it has a literal bed for a seat"
"You can take naps inside here but all of you can't sleep together, Ishana will be crushed between you two, so we are camping outside"
"That makes sense"
"I also need to tell you, that we are going to travel for five days, we will cross the pink stream first before we can land on the Capital"

"When we come across a town or village we will stop there to rest, this trip of ours will take us three full seasons, for you to return to the Sun Empire"

Sam exits and Aster and Ishana enter the Vardo, Sam and Aden man it at the front, now that I noticed, there are huge horses that's going to pull this thing.
"Those horses are real right?"

The Vardo started moving, we are still in solid ground so there's not much shaking yet but once we are on the rough terrain the shaking will start.
"It won't shake" Aden suddenly says
"Eh?"
"If you are worried that the Vardo will shake, it won't, trust me"
"...Why are you so sure?"
"You see, we got this from a very special client, so It's not your usual carriage that shakes or that first-class one, this has smooth-riding"
"Okay?"
"You'll see once we are farther away"
To pass the time we talked about various things, all of them were interested in what my world is like, I told them there wasn't anything special about it, besides the advancement of technology.
I needed to explain to them what technology is, and other stuff in order for them to have knowledge of it and to understand what I am saying, they were amazed at what the things in my world could do, they even say that the world I'm living in is an easy life.
"I-Imagine a 'mixer' b-being able to mix a dough! I w-would definitely l-love to try that!" Aster cheered
"So you like baking?"
"Yes!"
"I'd love to have the 'stove' that has switches, it would definitely be easier to control the fire when cooking," Ishana says, her tail wagging.
THIS CHILD MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COST!
She is beyond cute!
"So you love cooking?"
"I cook for brothers, and I also cook for both big sisters!"
"...Hahaha" I remember Forsythia for some reason.
"I'd love to drive those 'metal vehicles' you said, sounds fun," Aden says in front "what about you Sam?"
"It sounds interesting, but an easy life isn't for me, I'd prefer moving my body, rather than sitting around"

Sam is spitting facts, but it hurts, I'm guilty of everything he said, I also became chubby because of sitting around, I do work at Laurrie's but that's not enough exercise...it's only about eight hours standing around and tending to costumers sometimes six, and I don't do overtime…
That reminds me, I also drank with my college friends, as well as coming home late and on my day off, I watch horror movies as well as be on my phone almost all day…
Now that I'm thinking back...I'm such a couch potato…

"We are already at the dirt road, rough terrain as you so call it"
I looked out of the window, and we really are at the rough terrain, but there isn't any shakiness at all.
"What did I tell you?"
"Wait…" I stopped "do you read minds Aden?"
"A Telepath?"
"Yeah, that"
"No?"
"Aden, you know you are a bad liar"
"I am a level five telepath, I pick up the thoughts of the surrounding people, but I can't help it, it automatically does" Aden admitted.

My face became red at the sudden words Aster said, so he heard everything that I said in my mind when…
"AHHHHHHH"
I screamed, I covered my face embarrassed, I can't believe this!

When I get back to the Capital, I'll give him a piece of my mind! That's why he knows what to say!
"Calm down, S-Seraphine"
"Sorry if I pried inside your head, I seriously can't control this, it suddenly picks the thoughts up, but I can stop my telepathy, but sometimes it does this"
"Do you know how to protect your mind from telepathy users like you?"
"You need to empty your thoughts, and reject incoming mind readers"
