Chapter 2: The enemy

A little furry fiend popped his head out of a cardboard box that had been placed beside Errol.

"WHAT is THAT?" Errol thought.

"Errol, meet Oreo. Oreo, meet Errol." Their slaves both said thrillingly.

Oreo was a little ball of black fluff with a white splodge on his face and feets with azure eyes. He also had a red collar on with a little bell on it.

As Oreo explored the house Errol stared down at him from the top of the sofa plotting his grand attack to chase him out of his palace.

****

As the Christmas season neared the slaves put this thing called a "Christmas tree" up, it has flashy lights, a white bird perched on the top and was covered with shiny circular toys, which happened to be baubles, and Errol loves to bat them with his paw and tear them off the tree. He also loved to bite and attack a very sparkly red and green thing humans call "tinsel" that was wrapped around the tree all the way up, it felt quite spiky, but it just reminded him about the hedgehog that he once caught and gave him an extra urge to tear it off this giant tree.

Oreo on the other hand was persistent to get the dove on the top of the tree, and when he saw Errol climbing the tree to attack a glittery bauble it gave Oreo an idea, once Errol had gotten to the ground with the bauble sitting in his mouth firmly Oreo suddenly decided to leap for the top of the tree! It failed horribly, he reached the middle but suddenly got caught in tinsel like a mini Christmas tree.

Errol just stared up at him in complete disapproval thinking to himself 'he can't even beat some tinsel? How weak.' At that moment, their slaves walked in with their coffee and saw him in the tree, and they both laughed a bit as Bobby put his coffee down and unwrapped Oreo. "What are we going to do with you?" said Bobby as he booped his nose and placed him down in his box.

As Errol saw Oreo being fussed over by HIS slaves, he thought angrily thought to himself 'he's stealing all of MY attention! I need to think of a way to get rid of him, and FAST!'
