Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Error

Erick was even more confused by this event but he couldn't do anything about it. He then took a look at his panel and sighed. He had envy in his heart as he realized something was wrong with his panel. He didn't know exactly what was happening but he didn't like it. He was just a passenger and the panel was the conductor. Erick naturally didn't like being the one out of control but had no choice other than going along with it.

A few minutes pass as Erick sits and stares at the panel, waiting for something to happen.

Suddenly...

Erick was startled by what it showed. "This magical thing has errors?!" He tried yelling. "If it can have such an error why even give it out in the first place!?!" He tried stating in an angry tone.

Erick then got even angrier and a little sadder as the same message popped up again. "Was this panel denying my existence?" He questioned. "I'M RIGHT HERE YA DAMN SYSTEM!" He tried yelling furiously yet no noise came out.

Erick thoughts were jumbled. He thought that he was gonna lead a new and less boring life in this second chance. He was saddened by the hopelessness he felt.

The system kept ringing with errors for what felt like hours until..

Erick jumped up with joy and confusion. "Player '[Error]'? Am I recognized as an error to the system?" This made Erick feel a mix of emotions but he mostly felt uncomfortable being called an 'error'. Errors are mistakes, they aren't wanted and certainly not done on purpose. Either the system just roasted him or he really didn't belong here. He, just like the other six, had guessed they all died to get here and even felt as if it was that way but he had no recollection of such an event.

Erick guessed that this was, at some point, going to show up as he watched this happen to the other six. But what had him disappointed was not only the fact that he didn't turn into a white light but instead..

Erick looked at the instant barrage of messages in shock. He then took a look at his body and realized that nothing even happened. The only thing that was happening was the constant sound of errors ringing through his ears.

It was too obvious now. Unlike the other six, his system was shitty. It kept repeating that he didn't exist but at the same time was giving his nonexistence gifts that never came.

The instant barrages got longer and he started thinking that the system was now just repeating itself every error he received regardless of whatever else was happening. He was starting to get a headache from all the 'Ding's and 'ERROR's.

These words stood out from all the errors. "Did this mean I wont be going to the same world as the others?" He felt that if this were the case the he would definitely have a lot trouble coming his way because of his error filled system.

"What?!" Erick was completely bewildered by what he just read. "How could you fail to find a single planet in an ever expanding universe?!?" This 'error' was outrageous to him. It was as if the system itself was failing itself just to toy with him now.
