Aaron was furious, but he suppressed his anger and turned to look at Jeremy before apologizing, "Forgive me, Mister Jeremy." He wanted to say something more, but he would rather not make it sound like he was belittling his elder sister.

"There is no need for an apology," Jeremy stated, looking at him. His lips curled in a soft smile which flickered slightly when he looked at Ariel, but he did not say anything rude as she was a woman. He cleared his throat and said to Noah, "I think it is time for us to leave."

The reason the two of them came to the Harlow house was because Noah wanted to hold a decent conversation with Ari about their abrupt and unexpected divorce. However, Noah had messed up once again after listening to his heart instead of his mind, with Ari gone—— Jeremy was not convinced that there was any point in staying in the Harlow house.
