Chapter 6: Registering
The family of three is travelling to Musutafu General Hospital to register Yui's quirk. This is one of the times she gets to go outside rarely. Yui knows why her parents didn't allow her to go outside. She knows they treasure but also knows she can also be a weakness to her parents, but soon it will change, she has powers to protect herself.
Soon they arrive at the hospital, while Kono decides to drop them at the front while he parks the car. The mother and daughter duo checks the receptionist for their appointment. After checking with the receptionist, they waited for Kono to arrive, and when he arrived, they were surprised to see a certain flaming hero, Enji Todoroki the No.2 Hero, Endeavor. Endeavor is not in his hero costume, wearing a formal suit.
After saying goodbye to the hero. Kono heads to the waiting duo. "Sorry, met him while I was on my way here, did you guys wait for long?" said Kono
"No, we just arrived here, why is he here? I thought he's on hero duty."
"Apparently, Natsuo is awakened his quirk so they are registering it. "
"Oh I see, too bad i didn't see his son"
"Let's just go and register Yui's quirk"
The trio enters one of the elevators, and presses the button of the 3rd floor. Yui decides to ask "Is the No.2 hero strong?"
"Yes, why?"
"Nothing, just curious"
The elevator just opened as Yuki opened her mouth only to shut again. Walking out of the elevator, they move to the right hallway and knock at the 3rd room at the left.
*Knock Knock*
They heard a lively voice of a man on the other side of the door.
"Come in!~"
When they opened the door, they were greeted by a young man in his early twenties, wearing a doctor's coat, underneath the coat is a yellow T-shirt with an All Might pose on it. Wearing blue pants with blue shoes.
"Welcome to my domain!"
"..."
"..."
"...'
"Sheesh, tough crowd" says the young man while adjusting his collar
"Let's just get straight to the point, we're kinda busy Hiroshi" says Kono
"Yes, yes still grumpy as always" says Aoyoma while ruffling his hair
"Ok Let's see, Yui was it?" asks Hiroshi
Yui only nods at him
"Want some candy?" says Hiroshi while holding a new lollipop.
"..." Yui is just deadpanned staring at him.
"Sheesh, kids these days" While putting it back in a jar.
"Alright, i am gonna ask some few questions and some minor check ups, now say Ahhhh~"
After doing some answering some questions and doing check ups. Yuki and Yui decide to head first to the car while Kono signs some papers. When they are heading to the car, Yui is feeling something at her stomach. It feels like her stomach is tying a knot. Yui When they keep getting closer Yui is feeling it stronger and her head is ringing.
When they have reached the car. Yui hears someone saying 'Protect'. Deciding to trust the voice, she encased her mother and herself. When the car suddenly explodes. Shards of metal from the car scatters around the area, hot flames fuming like an angry beast.
When the area is starting to cool down, it reveals the area scorched, only revealing a dome of ice. The ice started to break down revealing two people hugging each other. Yuki has a fear and angry look at her face. She quickly scans the area for more danger. When she is done scanning, she quickly checks Yui for any injuries. She sighs in relief when there is none.
Soon sounds of multiple footsteps arrive on the scene. When Kono finds the two, he quickly runs to them to check on them. "Yuki! Yui! Are you guys alright!?"
"We're fine" answers Yuki
"The police are coming, so may I suggest that the two to stay at the reception to check if there is any hidden injuries" suggests Hiroshi
The three nodded at the suggestion. They head to the reception to check on them, while this is happening Yui is silent. She is calm on the outside but inwardly she is shocked, if she didn't follow the voice they may have died! Thankfully she listened to the voice.
When she snapped out of it, Kono and Yuki looked at her in concern, they thought she was petrified and scared. Yuki is contemplating 'How did Yui know?' she was scared but quickly calmed down but deep in her heart, she is still afraid.
"Are you fine Yui?" asks Yuki
"I'm fine" answers Yui
"You guys need to go home first, i have called another car from the mansion for you guys" Says Kono
"How about you dear?" Asks Yuki
"I'll cooperate with the police for this" answers Kono
"Okay, be safe dear" said Yuki
"Be safe too" Kono replied back
They kissed and hugged each other before departing. Kono headed to the police while Yuki and Yui waited for the car to pick them up. Kono is thinking how they planted a bomb in the car. Kono is calling his subordinates to investigate this incident. Kono thinks 'looks like they are in the move and when i find them, i'll kill them slowly with a painful death'. Kono curses himself for being too complacent lately. Kono felt a touch on his shoulder, he looked at his shoulder to only see Hiroshi.
"There is no security bypass, no tinkering on the cctv either. You think it's them?" asks Hiroshi
"They must be, they are after my family" answers Kono
"You got that right, they think it's your weakness" replied Hiroshi
"After I found them I'll bury them beneath the ground and never see the light again" Kono answered grimly while letting out a small amount of his quirk, lowering the temperature for a few degrees.
"Alright alright chill out, anger won't do any progress " joked Hiroshi
"Hmph" Kono grunted at it
"So… League of Villains huh" says Hiroshi while looking at the sky.
"..."
After waiting a while, Kono received a phone call. Answering them and telling his location and situation, he ended the call.
Meanwhile, Yui and Yuki are sitting in the car waiting to get home. Yuki decided to confront her daughter.
"Yui"
"Yes?" Yui answers while looking outside the window
"How did you know?" questions Yuki
"What do you mean?" Yui questions back
"The bomb at the car" said Yuki
"..." Yui sighs at this, and decides to answer it.
"When we were going to the car, i've got a weird feeling."
"Weird?"
"My stomach is churning and my head is ringing, but when we get near to the car, I heard a voice saying "Protect" " answers Yui
"..."
"What is it?" questions Yui
Yuki just stares at her daughter before answering.
"Instinct"
"..."
The duo decided to talk later when they got home, they had a rough day today. Afterall an explosion happened at them.
