Chapter 3: Chapter 3- A family's breakfast.

Nearly an hour had passed before both Lachlan and Isley were ready to let the halfling go. Before the halfling was out of his stupor, he was brought into the scullery to clean the filth off of him. After that he was sent back to the kitchen and placed back into a cauldron full of lukewarm water.

The three sisters put a pound of salt into the water and other spices and herbs. They let who slowly simmer in the herbs making the flesh soft and tender and the blood warm and delicious.

"Right then. It's almost time to eat." Paisley's smile was bright and dazzling.

"Let's warm you shall we?" "Isley giggled. '' Vampires don't like cold blood."  she smiled humorously at the halfling before lighting a fire underneath the cauldron.

Right before the water began to boil the halfling was lifted out and placed on an iron rack that had numerous holes .

" I will be going to the waterfall. Hurry up and  finish the rest of the cooking." Paisley walked out the kitchen, not caring to receive an acknowledgment.

She shook out her blonde hair, her beautiful  blue eyes swept nonchalantly across the kitchen. It didn't take long for the kitchen to only have two people inside, excluding the halfling that was struggling on the rack.

The halfling was nothing more than an animal and a plaything the moment he was captured. Beatrice stared at the halfling in hunger, she shackled the halfling before opening the drain port.

The port had medium sized holes, underneath it was a dripping system that they used to store the blood and inners. Though the entire family ate fresh flesh, they could only do so after the blood and inners were removed.

As for the excess, the family pickled those in magical jars to keep them fresh before selling them to vampires and other mythical creatures.

"Lovely, he's ready. I think next time we should look for a fatter stock." Isley looked at the scrawny halfling. She preferred creatures with more fat than anything else.

"You're right. The children need to eat more, so their powers can grow steadier. Our coven still doesn't have its numbers." Beatrice mumbled absentmindedly.

Compared to other covens who had more than fifty people in them. The mere twenty two was something to roll their eyes at especially because over half of the clan was under age and without any powers.

Isley nodded solemnly, " C'on, let's section him and put him back in the cauldron. The soup is boiling and it has started to smell fragrant." The halfling groaned from the loss of blood, he felt dizzy and sleepy; he closed his eyes for a long awaited nap.

He listened to the sisters talk about dismembering him, he started to struggle against the chains and cuffs. His icy blue eyes grew wide as Beatrice came near him with a chopping knife. She smiled gently as she licked her lips hungrily..

"Thank you for your sacrifice." She smiled mischievously as she plunged the knife into the halfling stomach.

She made a long 'Y' shape cut on the halflings body, like she was doing a skilled autopsy.  The halfling's body went into shock, his eyes rolled back into head. His breathing slowed until his heartbeat stopped.

Beatrice slowly and meticulously started taking out his numerous organs. She handed them over to Isley to pickle and store.

Out of all her siblings, Beatrice was the one that loved to kill, maim and take apart the victims the most. She loved draining their life force. It made her feel complete and exhilarated. Even now, she had a bright smile on her face, a brilliant spark in her mesmerizing emerald eyes.

The sisters skillfully sliced off the fresh from his bones before frying them in a pan and then they cut chunks from his stomach and threw them in the cauldron.

For  a full meal, they used  one of his arms, one of his legs and part of the stomach. They put the rest of the long pig into the cold room. After the long pig was cooked Isley began to  heat up eggs, flatbread and then cut some red apples.

After the food was done, Beatrice arranged the long pig  on the platters and then began to send the trays in the dining room. She arranged the platters  beautifully on the breakfast table for the family to see.

Isley sat down and began to  serve her younger siblings before serving herself. Paisley came in and sat down in a seat next to Beatrice.  She watched everyone else eating before she made a plate for herself to eat, they didn't need to wait for their parents and the rest of their siblings.  Not long after the rest of the family came in and sat down on their cushioned seats.

Lachlan the eldest son and child of the family sat next to his father leaving a single seat on his left. That seat was for Callum, which he took as he sat in between his eldest brother and third sister, Isley. Paisley and Beatrice sat in their repetitive spots.

Beatrice watched as her eldest sisters served her two elder brothers, like little wives. While Isley was happy to be a little wife, it was clear that Paisley was only doing so, out of obligation.

She realized a long time ago that she and her fourth sister were free spirits that didnt like to be constrained. That was one of the reasons why she decided to leave the cave after she came of age.

She wasn't going to be like her eldest sister, stuck in this deplorable cave. She was young and beautiful and all she wanted to do was have fun and wreak havoc on the illicit world.

Beatrice made sure to give herself a thick slice of fried long pig, it was salted and buttered; hitting the taste buds just right. The family enjoyed their breakfast in silence with moderate discussion between the elder siblings.

Their mother rubbed her belly constantly as she continued to eat, humming to herself. Callum looked at his fifth sister's non-existent nightgown suggestively. His eyebrows scrunched up in dissatisfaction.

Beatrice looked delectable in a children's night dress that only slightly covered her large melon breast. He knew that when she went to bed last night, she could fit the nightgown perfectly. But now her figure showed in the shadows of the Tinkbugs and candles, enticing and arousing him to no end.

"Look at your goonie, it's ruined isn't it?" Callum raised his right eyebrow with a mischievous look on his face. Beatrice frowned, her face flushed with embarrassment.

" Shit, you shitface. Look at Trixie's face. It's gone completely red."  Isley admonished.

Callum grunted in displeasure before taking a bite out of his eggs. Their younger siblings watched on giggling at his sullen face. A moment later both their parents stopped fondling each other and turned to watch their children messing around.

Once most of the food had been eaten, Beatrice watched her parents and elder siblings pair off as they left the table. Beatrice was the oddball out. She  felt despondent  as she had no one to cuddle with on her birthday. It made her a little sad, wondering  when  she was going to find her special someone.

She knew that she and  most of  her younger sisters would have to leave the nest in order to find their own lovers and start  their own families. Beatrice's eyes suddenly connected with her mothers, while her father stood to the side nuzzling his wife's neck.

Her mother's smile illuminated the entire room. They had come back into the dining room to have a small chat with Beatrice.

"Trixie darling, Your transformation is almost complete. Ah..I wish I could help you through it. But I can't." Mother Aberidour smiled gently, her eyes warm as she looked at her daughter. This daughter of her's was the most special and the most promising out of all her children.

Beatrice's father nodded in confirmation. " Och aye, your elder siblings will help. They will be here soon, you best prepare." His solemn and stern voice vibrated through the room.

He was always a stern figurehead, that hardly talked unless necessary. He was the reason why his children did not become complete barbarians and were more human than demon.

"Yes paw, we will  do as you say." Lachlan said as the rest of his siblings walked in behind.

Paisley and Isley walked behind their elder brothers as they entered the dining hall. They helped clean their smalling siblings as they jumped around excitedly. Their small eyes darted around while their hands continuously grabbed at things that would dirty their clothes even more.

After their parents finished talking, they quickly went back to their room. Their elder brothers took the younger siblings out of the dining room and returned them back to the magical garden to play.

While the three sisters cleared the table, pickled the unfinished long pig and also the other dishes. They took their time going from one place to the other. They checked pickled organs floated in green translucent liquid. With everything in place the sisters finally left.
