Chapter 20: chapter sixteen
its a Monday.well,after two weeks of school now I understand why people hate Mondays. there's a lot of work given at the end of the week.but still I think I somehow like school better than hospitals.
the first hour was zoology.and guess what happened. Martha ma'am paired me with Leslie. Susan got paired with Mario. and Ivie with Steve.they threw me puppy eyes and sorry glances and went with their respective partners.girl....I'm screwed.what would I do with this girl who just want to know whether her nail polish will be affected by the spirit smell coming from the specimens....
our assignment was to find the cnidarian group of specimens,bottle them in spirit and find their characteristics. all she told to me was,she dont want her nails to be affected .so,it would be better if I do it.now,she is soundly sleeping with an open mouth and saliva flowing.thank god..she isn't snoring.
so,I complied myself to the stinky tank and searched for cnidarians. after five minutes I looked back having heard a commotion there.there he stood ,the black and white boy."hi,I'm Freddie. I'm so sorry to interrupt.... ah....I was paired with Chelsea there, I didn't feel so comfortable. miss.Martha agreed to pair with you."he spared a glance at now snoring Leslie. " can I help you ? your partner doesn't seem so helpful.... "
after a minute I understood that I was staring at him." oh,okay....come on...I am almost finished. "he put on a glouse and came to the tank...we searched for new specimens as what I had found was not so good. he was taller than me,so it was easy for him.I tried to bend and find one of the cnidarians from the tank...I just know I heard a terrible sound.my leg got stuck under the tanks stand.man....I can hear ringing in my ears....I tend to fall...and all I can see is something too black...I stared and then there was a hand around my waist keeping me into a position where I could have a soft support for my body.the pain was excruciating... but after two minutes it was falling..the stand was removed... and..I could hear someone's voice asking me " are you all right " I stared into the blackness ...I just nodded...ms.Martha was by my side.as I regained consciousness I could see worried faces of Ivie and Susan.Chelsie was looking at me as she have eaten sour grapes. why is ashen scowling? jessil was smirking and Mario stood with a caring face.have I been out for a while..?
I just analyse my position. I'm still having a soft support around me.I look back and I stare again into some thing black as night.oh..my..god,I'm lying in the arms of Freddie against his chest.he has his other arm around my waist.we are alike the bridal kissing position. and I have been staring at his black pupils for about five minutes now....
