Chapter 2: The first time I saw you...
Sebastian entered the room with a worried look on his face . He looked at me for some time . He was not looking but searching for something. What was he trying to find in me. I wonder what he's thinking?
Sebastian calmed himself and said, "Hello Adriana, I'm Sebastian. Do you remember how you ended up in this state ."
"No, I can't recall anything. How many times may I try to recall the past but I start to have this headache . " Adriana was holding her head and was trying to press it with her hands.
"Don't worry dear I'll take care of everything you just take rest." Sebastian held her hands in his and comforted her . Then she asked, "So you're Sebastian" .
Sebastian replied, "Yes , and you are my fiancée . You are the only daughter of The Estevan Family.
Estevan Family is one of the most influential family in America and your father is a world famous tycoon who runs several industries in America , Asia as well as Europe."
"So you're basically trying to say that I'm rich and I'm engaged to you". Adriana confirmed with disbelief .
Sebastian looked at her with distrust and asked in an irritating tone, "You seriously don't remember why you agreed to this marriage? Don't you remember the deal we made? "
Adriana started to feel scared by him . She didn't knew what to say so she kept quite and was looking at the ring in her hand.
Seeing Adriana scared made it more difficult for Sebastian to belief that she is faking her amnesia.
As far as Sebastian knew Adriana , She would throw a tantrum or cause ruckus if she wanted something . The Adriana, he knew was never scared of anything . 'Has she really lost her memories then what about his lover . Has she forgotten about him and all the things of the past. '
"Adriana do you remember him" . Sebastian hesitated, what if she has not forgotten him but has forgotten about the marriage agreement, wouldn't it all be in vain. No Sebastian can't let all the strings that he pulled to get his hands on the new project of réussir groups go for nothing.He has worked so hard and even sacrificed his love for it . No he can't. He won't let this happen . He'll find him , definitely.
"Who is he. Is there someone more except my family members whom I should remember. " Seeing him hesitated Adriana asked him.
"Sebastian, are you listening, is he my friend. What's his name. Sorry but I really don't remember him. Can you tell me who he is ? Or perhaps he was my ex- boyfriend , is he ? She thought of teasing Sebastian . "No he is not your ex-boyfriend . I'm talking about your cousin Haden." Sebastian replied angrily . "You didn't had any love life before, do you understand. I am the first man in your life do you understand this clearly". Sebastian tried to brain wash her . "But didn't you just now said that I agreed to marry you because of a deal." Adriana asked curiously .
"Forget about it . We'll talk about it after you come home.
The doctor has advised you take plenty of rest. So rest early, I'll bring some porridge for you , you must be feeling hungry. You must eat healthy and get discharged soon . Afterall your father is still waiting for you at home." Sebastian tried to change the topic by sweet talking.
But Adriana can't ease up . Not knowing anything about her ownself made her feel like she was living someone else's life .
Adriana once again tried to remember the past . How she ended up here?
She was desperately focusing on her memories but her headache bursted . She started to scream because of the pain . The nurse came running and gave her an sedative .
When she woke up an unknown person was holding her hands .
