Chapter 24: Ch.24 Building a house part.2

The next morning, Jax got up even earlier than the previous day and went to the guildhall to eat breakfast. He didn't want to waste too much time, so he ate a single toast with a glass of apple juice before making his way to his land.

Arriving on top of the two basement floors, Jax used his magic to push the vegetation that hid the basement before walking back into it. He wanted to confirm that the restorative properties of the basement had been kept throughout the night and didn't fade away with time.

As he arrived at the deepest basement, Jax used his fire magic to attack the wall once again. Upon confirming that the fire didn't spread and that the wall started to restore itself, Jax made his way back towards the surface. At this time, he had to make the first floor of the house.

On the first floor, he wanted an entryway next to the main entrance of the house. Afterwards, he wanted a library, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. On the back of the house, he wanted a sliding door made of glass that led to a patio where he would be able to install a pool, a garden, a sauna and a few playing fields.

However, at this time, he only focused on the interior of the house and would work on the exterior after finishing the place. Firstly, he raised the walls and made them look like tree trunks without the bark. Afterwards, he started creating the rooms. The first room when entering the house was the entry hall. The entry hall had a door on the left, right, and opposite right side of the entrance. Not only that, but the entry hall also had two staircases on the opposite left side of the gate, which would lead to the second floor. The entrance of the two staircases was close to the left door of the entry hall and the opposite right-side door. The two staircases met at the very top to lead to the next floor. As for the spiral staircase that went downwards, it was in the middle of the two circling stairs. Jax immediately thought about having a painting or the Fairy Tail guild emblem as a picture right behind the spiral staircase, which was directly under where the two staircases met.

On the right side of the hallway was the library, where he could make many shelves whenever he wished to store his books. He separated the space into two by having a semi-wall. On the side closest to the entrance, there would be a fireplace, shelves for books as well as a few sofas to relax on when one read. On the other side of the room would be a desk made of wood, and behind it would be more shelves he would fill with books. Next to the desk would be a door which would lead to a garden he planned on making afterwards.

On the left side of the hallway was the dining room. Jax didn't install anything in it as he planned on buying the furniture or making them afterwards if he didn't find anything to his taste. He only knew that there would be a long table in the middle of the dining room so that many people could eat at the same time. At the very left of the room was another door that led directly to the kitchen.

Jax made the kitchen smaller than the other rooms since there wasn't a need to be excessively big. After creating a few small trees, he transformed them into a few storage cases to store his tableware. By making the storage cases himself, the boy could make them fit perfectly with the walls. After finishing the kitchen, he went back to the hallway and went directly in the last door.

The last door, the one at the very opposite to the entrance, was the living room. Jax was planning on having a few sofas and games, which he probably would never play along with a few musical instruments. After all, thanks to his sound magic, he seemed to have the talent of playing musical instruments, and he learned that he loved to play them during some of his jobs during the six months.

Finally, he made a bathroom in the corner of the living room. He would make sure to soundproof the walls just in case and add a few deodorant lacrimas.

By the time he finished the first floor, it was already noon. So, Jax figured he would only have time to reinforce the walls for the day and maybe have some time to shop for a few windows since he didn't know how to make them himself. Perhaps he would be able to in the future with his magic, but at this time, he had no idea how.

After eating at the guildhall like every other day, he went back to the house and reinforced the walls and ceiling. Jax and previously strengthened the floor when he was in the basement. This way, he spent the rest of his day on the reinforcement, soundproofing and restorative properties of the house that was starting to take shape.

The next day, he started on the second floor. He had planned on having a home cinema on this floor. He would have to buy a movie lacrima to make it work. Next, there would be guest bedrooms and bathrooms in each room to give the guests privacy. Due to the home cinema taking a large place, Jax only made six guest's bedrooms on the floor, facing the garden behind the house and the ocean further away. He also decided to add small patios for all the rooms. The staircase was on the second floor's right, and the home cinema was on the entrance side. Since the home cinema took about three bedrooms worth of place, Jax used the rest of the area to create a small living room where he would leave some sofas and tables to relax.

Thankfully, the second floor was easier to do compared to the first floor. By the time Jax finished reinforcing, soundproofing and giving restorative properties to the entire floor, it was about midday.

That morning, he had taken lunch with him made by the workers of the guild. As such, he didn't bother going back to the guild to eat and immediately started the third floor. He was quite excited to finish it.

On the third floor, he planned on having the master bedroom in the center of the floor on the side of the ocean, having six guest bedrooms just like the second floor, add bathrooms in every room and a large balcony to each room. He also made a slightly larger living room than the second floor.

Finally, by the end of the day, Jax had reinforced the entire house with all he could, Jax had also completed all the small details. Details such as the cleaning lacrimas for the toilets, the water and fire lacrimas for the bath or shower, and adding a few wind and fire lacrimas at the second basement. The lacrimas in the basement would transmit heat throughout the house whenever he activated them if it was too cold outside.

With the night falling, he went back to the guild to eat. He had worked the whole day and was beginning to feel tired.

"So! Jax! How's your house doing? Is it almost completed?" Asked Macao has he wanted to make sure he didn't need any help.

"Well, the whole layout of the house has been made. At this point, I only need to buy some furniture, buy and install some windows. I still need to make the entry, the garden, various facilities in the garden and some kind of natural barrier around the house to prevent people from randomly entering or peeping. For the garden and entrance, I should manage to complete it tomorrow. As for buying and transporting the windows and furniture, I'll need your help the day after tomorrow if you guys don't mind." Jax spoke a little louder so that the rest of the guild could hear him as he asked for their help.

"Sure thing, man, we'll be there!" A member shouted from the crowd. "Just tell us what you need, and we'll bring it to you tomorrow. Just give us some funds to buy everything, my wife took my money, and now I'm poor." Said another member as everyone laughed at him. At this point, everyone knew that Jax was pretty rich as he had done jobs non-stop for six months.

"Haha thanks, I'll leave a list of the materials needed, and if you guys can bring it to me tomorrow, then I'll speed up my work and complete the house tomorrow!" Jax answered with enthusiasm as everyone laughed, and another party started in the guild as Jax started listing the necessary materials to buy.
