Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The crash

Yura's POV:

I looked out the window at the night sky. I smiled as I saw the moon shimmer behind the tall trees. I turned around to see my mom smiling and dancing to the music as she drove. I began to dance with her as i looked out the car window again. The road up ahead was pitch black, the only thing you could see was our cars headlights shining slightly up the road.

Suddenly there was another car on the road coming our way. There was the bright flash of their headlights as they began getting closer. Our car swerved a little before we crashed. The sound of glass shattering. There was a high pitch ring in my ear as the car flipped. I looked over to see my mother, as blood dripped down her worried face. "MOM!!" I yell reaching out for her to take my hand. As she grabbed my hand everything went black.

I slowly open my eyes to bright lights. Everything was blurry and I squinted to try and see better. As soon as my vision became less blurry I saw doctors standing over me. I jump up in shock and pulled my knees up to my chest. I looked around and i noticed it was hospital room. The doctors had left the room by now so I was alone. I heard another high pitch ring in my ear and that's when I remembered what had happened.

Memories of the crash flashed in the back of my mind and tears ran down my face as I remember my mom grabbing my hand. Soon a doctor came back with my dad close behind him. I could tell he had been crying but I guessed it was because mom and i got into a crash. He came up to me and began to cry again as he held me in his arms. "Oh thank god your okay." he said as he kissed my forehead. "It's good to see you too dad" I say in tears as I hug him. "Is mom okay?" I ask in a raspy voice looking my dad in the eyes. He frowns and looks away. "No she didn't survive, i'm sorry" he says while tears run down his face.
