Chapter 174: Adjustments

Haruki didn't have an answer to his best friend's questions. 

He felt overwhelmed by a bitter feeling of impotence he could not explain. Right now he felt very helpless, and the weight of the world that was crumbling on his back was putting him on his knees.

The singer didn't want Jun's firstborn child to grow estranged from his father. He remembered the baker's concern when he heard about his friend's daughter alone here in the real world. And all about his and his Mom's cringey and troubled rescue operation to save Daisuke's baby.

Jun dreamed of having a family, and now he would be a father. And this was the only thing Haruki could ever give him, a biological child.

But the singer was also not prepared to sacrifice himself, or to step away from Beast-san's life. Jun was his first love and wanted him to be his life partner. However, this had happened before Jun knew he would be a father.
