Chapter 2: Chapter 2 The Revelation
I got back home late. I was freaking tired. I tried following Skylar earlier but he was driving in his car while I was only riding on my bike and I lost him.
I went to my fridge and get a cold bottle of my favorite drink. "Blood juice." I turn some into a cup and drink it.
I place it back in the fridge, walk to my room and jump on my bed. I exhale tiredly.
"I'm just getting started and I feel sick about this already. It not likes it my first time being on an assignment like this, so why am I having this acrid feelings."
I stand up and went to the mirror. I was looking really different. I look another deep breath and I went back to my bed.
Brrring…., brrring… my alarm keeps ringing. I roll to the other said of the bed and hit the clock off. I reach for my phone, took it and cover myself inside my duvet together with my phone. I turn on the phone wanting to see if I have any message when my eyes sight with the time. I remove the duvet from my head and sit up immediately. I look at the clock resting on the left side of my wall to confirm if my phone was correct and the clock was reading the same with my phone time.
"8:13am!" I screamed. I quickly leaped out of the room to the bathroom. I took my bath and got dress. I transform into my disguised good girl looks, pick up my bag and run out.
I walk into the class. At this time, it was already fourteen minutes to ten. My apartment was a bit afield from my school. I purposely choose that apartment and location for some certain reason actually.
As I walked into the class, almost everyone turns and focus their gaze on me. I ignored them and walked to desk.
I noticed Skylar was not in class yet.
"Hey Keisha, why so late to school?" Liam asked.
"I didn't wake up on time."
"Why? You went clubbing all night yesterday? Was it fun?" He asked jokingly but it definitely doesn't seem like a joke to me.
I glared at him and the look in my eyes could tell I wasn't please with what he said. "Liam, are you always like this?"
"How do you mean?"
"Do you always talk so much like this? Can't you just shut up and think positive of your life instead of being a loquacious."
"Sorry." He apologize feeling embarrassed.
"I look away not given a damn on how my words made him feel. Then my eyes sight meet with the girls I saw before leaving the class yesterday. then I realized I needed Liam.
I turn backed to him. "Liam, I'm sorry about my words. I was actually going through a lot."
"I was just joking. Why did you have to say such hurtful words to me?"
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine."
"It's fine?" I asked surprise. I wasn't expecting him to say that at least not now.
"Yeah, it's fine. We are friends now right?"
"Sure. Liam, do you know those girls?" I look to their direction.
"You mean Alice, Eve and Eleanor?"
I nodded.
"Sure. They are the kQ's. Kroger Queen's. The School bullies. Alice and Skylar are" he turn two of his finger into a heart shape at me.
"In love ?"
"Dating. Being the proudly Kroger Queen's, nobody has been able to overcome them. They are rich and the rich does anything, everything they wish to do. They oppress most especially the poor kids."
"But I don't think the poor can afford here."
"They are on Scholarships"
"Oh, right."
"Why do you asked about them anyways?"
"I saw them staring at me yesterday."
"I noticed that too when you were answering the question. Guess what, she hates it when someone answer question correctly. She wants everybody to be as empty headed as she and her gangs are."
"Can I ask you another question?"
"Sure."
"Have you been I victim before?"
"No. he answered almost immediately. He turns his head forward. Why asked?"
"Nothing"
Liam then looks at them. "I guess they are calling you."
I looked at them. They give me a one finger signal of "come here bitch." I wanted to hear what they have to say so I went to them.
"Hi, you're the new girl right?" Alice asked.
"Yeah"
"I'm Alice, She is Eleanor and Eve and you are?" Alice introduced.
I wanted to say something else but I decided to calm and see where they are heading to. "Keisha."
"Keisha? Is that a name that's supposed to be given to a human? it almost the name of my grandma pet. Is that really your real name ?" Eleanor asked and they made silly giggle.
"Yeah, that's an expensive name for pets and trust me it doesn't suit you." Eve said smiling. She looks at my face and stopped. "What? what with the face?"
"Guys stopped already, you're going to make the little miss cry." Alice added teasingly. "Ignore my friends. anyways, you are cute. We like you and want you to be one of us. So what do you think?"
I wasn't expecting that. I bow my head to think. "The girls might be closer to Skylar and it can also help me get closer to him too" I thought. I rise up my head and they were all looking at me waiting for an answer with smiles on their faces.
"I will be pleased to be one of you."
"So be it, but first, there are certain tests you need to pass before completely being one of us." Alice said.
"And what is that?"
"Don't worry, ease your mind it just an easy task, Right girls?" Alice asked.
"Of course" Eve and Eleanor agreed.
"You just have to buy us coffee. And if you get us our favorites then you pass." Eleanor said.
"Coffee?"
"Yeah"
"Okay. I left them."
They give a silly smile as I left.
Few minuet's later, I arrived with three cup of coffee. "Here are the coffees."
"Did we ask you for coffee?" Alice said and hesitates. "Oh we did, I almost forget. Let me have it."
I give it to them one after the other.
Eve was about drinking the coffee but she stopped. "I don't I have appetite for coffee anymore."
"I think so too. You took too long and I already lost appetite." Eleanor added and Alice too.
"And we can't let it waste either. It was bought with her hard earn money." Eleanor said and turn to me. "You want it?"
"I don't drink coffee."
"Then I guess I just have to do it this way." Eleanor said. She walks closer to me and pour the coffee on my head down to my body slowing and smiling abrasively
"Holy shit!" Liam exclaimed. He has been watching since I left to meet them.
After Eleanor finish pouring it on me, Alice follow and then Eve.
The own class eyes was on me.
I feel like freaking out. If only it was my real self, they all could have been down already by now. But being in this disguised good girl state, I could barely do anything, I just have to endure.
I run out of the class embarrassed with my face facing the floor. I didn't look before passing the entrance of our class door and I mistakenly bumped into Skylar who was just coming to school. My head dropped on his cheat and the coffee on my hair splash on his sparkly white uniform leaving a big stain on his uniform. While my head was still on his cheat, I fell his heavily building chest. my head on his chest was like in a pillow at the comfort of my bed. I felt his heart beats increased and suddenly I had a revelation.
