Chapter 14: Winners
Today is the day of competition, I feel so nervous. My dad and my brothers are all here to support me the only missing ones are my grandma and mom. Grandma had to stay behind to help my mother with the restaurant.
I feel sad why can't she be here and take a day off. When I look at my friends I feel jealous they could enjoy their time with their mothers why can't I be one of them.
Competitors from other schools perform one by one they all sung beautifully it was a tough competition if you are aiming for the top.
I saw a girl with a beautiful clear face, eyes shining, long chocolate brown hair and her voice was sweet like the birds chirping in spring. She was breathtaking, all the boys and audience look at her in awe adoring her beauty and voice. I looked at the side and saw Adrian was staring at the girl without blinking.
The girl and her partner ended their performance and step down the stairs. She looked like a professional without any nervousness like she was born for it. I admire her I wanted to be like her such gentleness and grace.
Adrian's eyes followed the girl like a shadow I was so annoyed with his dazed face. " Come on it's our turn now..... Adrian can you hear me " Lilith waved her hand in front of Adrian's face and at last punched his shoulder. He was back to reality " why do you do that for it hurts " Lilith rolled her eyes " it's our turn now let's go "
She walked up the stage her whole body was shaking due to nervousness. Adrian hold her hand assuring that it's gonna be alright. They walked up to the microphone holding hands.
She sung " Right from the start

" Rather all the data of the girl on the stage " said a handsome boy, he looked like a rich kid from a rich family. " Yes young master Samuel" said a bodyguard.
"That girl has the most beautiful voice like the girl in my dreams I don't know if it was a memory or just a dream I only thing that makes me think it's reality is this necklace the girl dropped running away I didn't even get to see her face " thought Samuel.
The winners of competition was about to be announced. " the third place goes to May and Harry, second place goes to Lily and Tom "
" not even second place we are screwed even the girl I admire who is better than me got second place " thought Lilith.
" The last but not the least the winners are.... Lilith and Adrian " I was so shocked I didn't even hope we would be the winner thought Lilith her heart was racing with excitement.
" So your name is Lilith I will remember it hope we will meet in person in the future "
