Chapter 25: 24. Earl Sterling Case And Kellog

After separating from Geneva, Sico went to the Diamond City entrance to wait for Nora there. Why did Sico wait for Nora there? It's because He knew that Nora would arrive with Nick today. After waiting for a while, he saw Nora, Nick, and Dogmeat arrive at the Diamond City entrance.
Sico: "Hey guys, it's good to see you."
Nick: "Hey there Sico, well I should head inside now that you guys don't need my help."
Nora: "Sure Nick, thanks for your help."
Nick: "You welcome."
Sico: "So ready to find Kellog?."
Nora: "Well let's find him tomorrow, I am very tired after the trip let me get some rest and tomorrow we find him."
Sico: "Sure then, let's head inside."
After that, they went inside and went to Sico's house so that Nora could have some rest. When Sico and Nora arrive at Sico's house, Sico lets Nora go inside to get some rest while he goes to Nick's office to get a job.
When Sico arrives at Nick's office, he goes to see Ellie and asks her if there is a case that he could help with.
Sico: "Hey Ellie, is there any case that I could help you with?."
Ellie: "Ah Sico, yes there are. This case I give you is about the disappearance of Earl Sterling, no one saw him get out of Diamond City and just disappear like that."
Sico: "Okay Ellie, I help you with that case. But do you have any suggestion where I should start finding him?."
Ellie: "Hmm… maybe you can start finding the lead from his home, here the security guard gave the key to his house when they gave the case to us."
Sico: "Great, thanks Ellie. I go right now then, see you later."
Then Sico gets out of Nick's office and goes to Earl's house to find some track or lead to find him. After Sico gets inside Earl's house, he starts by trying to find something that could help him find Earl. When he goes to Earl's living room, he sees some kind of paper under the sofa so he gets it and reads the paper.
Turns out Earl Sterling had an appointment with Doc Crocker for facial reconstruction surgery, so after finishing reading the paper he went to the Mega Surgery Center to find Doc Crocker. After he arrived at the Mega Surgery Center, he went inside but didn't find Doc Crocker so he went outside and asked Dr. Sun about it.
Sico: "Excuse me, Dr. Sun? Can I talk to you for a moment?."
Dr. Sun: "Yes what could I help you with? I am very busy so make it quick."
Sico: "Well what can you tell me about what is written on this paper?."
Dr. Sun: "On let me see, hmm… so Earl has a surgery appointment with Doc Crocker. Well, I don't know much about it, but you can ask Doc Crocker for it. unfortunately, Doc Crocker is busy right now in the cellar and can not be disturbed."
Sico: "Oh but it's very suspicious you know Dr. Sun, because I saw a blood trail leading to the Cellar. So I want to check there and see Doc Crocker too, if you don't give me the key I will make a scene here telling people you guys are a fraud."
Dr. Sun: "What!? How dare you threaten me!? Find here is the key but if there is not any suspicious activity, I suggest you leave or else."
Sico: "Thank you Dr. Sun for your understanding."
After that Sico went to the cellar door and opened it then went down to the cellar. When he arrived, he saw Doc Crocker with blood all over his body and a dead person on the operation table.
Sico: "Doc, whatever you are doing stop right now."
Doc Crocker: "Who let you down here!? If you want to find Earl please wait a minute I still fixing him."
Sico: "Doc, he is already dead because of your surgery."
Doc Crocker: "No.. No… No..! I can fix anything just wait, he will be back in no time."
Sico: "Doc please stop it can not happen and he is already dead, so now come with me to the security office."
Doc Crocker: "No I can fix anything!!!."
After yelling, Doc Crocket injected himself with some drug and then died instantly after injecting the drug into his body. Then Dr. Sun came down to the cellar because of the yelling he heard upstairs.
Dr. Sun: "What is going on here!? What have you done to Doc Crocker!?."
Sico: "Calm down Doc, Doc Crocker killed himself because he could not handle the guilt of killing Earl Sterling."
Dr. Sun: "So he really did that, the facial reconstruction. I want you to keep everything here for yourself, now please get out of here I will clean up this mess."
Sico: "Okay Dr. Sun, see you later."
After finishing Earl Sterling's case, Sico went out of the cellar and went to Nick's office to submit the report of the case to Ellie. When he finishes submitting the report to Ellie, Sico heads back to his house to get some rest.
The next day Sico and Nora woke up and then ate breakfast, Nora gave Dogmeat some meat before they left to find Kellog. After finishing eating breakfast, Nora gives a San Francisco Sunlight cigar to Dogmeat for him to smell it to find Kellog.
Then when Dogmeat finishes smelling the cigar, he runs out from Diamond City while Nora and Sico follow Dogmeat from behind. After following Dogmeat for a while, they arrive at a lake Dogmeat points at a cigar for him to smell it.
After smelling it, Dogmeat continues to track Kellogg from his scent. On the way to find Kellogg, they meet quite a few enemies like a Yao guai and some mongrel dogs then they have to stop several times because Dogmeat has to smell something new again to find Kellogg.
Then they arrive at some Fort called Fort Hagen and Dogmeat tells them that the track is stopped there, so Kellog must be in this building. After that, they find a way to get inside because the front door is blocked, and while finding an entrance to get inside they have to be careful while looking around because the Fort turret is on.
After finding the entrance to Fort Hagen in the basement, they went inside carefully because nobody knew what was on the inside. When they got inside, they heard the sound of people but robotic.
Then they saw some kind of robot group with a human model carrying a laser rifle and a security baton. When the robots saw them, they opened fire at Nora and Sico so they had to fight back at them.
After killing the group of robots, they go deeper to find Kellogg. When they arrive at some place they hear a sound tells them to turn around. But they don't listen to it and continue to find Kellog, on the way to find Kellog they meet some resistance from the robot or synth what they are called but are easily dealt with by Nora, Sico, and Dogmeat.
Finally, they arrived at the last place, where there were more synth guards the place and they killed them all on the way until they finally met Kellogg with 3 synths beside him.
Kellogg: "Well-well who do we have here, it's the mom who looking for his son."
Nora: "Where is my son!?."
Kellogg: "Whoa hold your breath, you can not find him."
Nora: "I asking you nicely Kellogg, how could you steal a baby from his parents and kill one of the parents at it."
Kellogg: "Well what can I say, that's my forte. Your son now is already in a better place safe from this hell hole, now I telling you guys nicely to turn around and leave or else"
Sico: "Where is the place, Kellogg!? I can let you go alive if you tell me."
Kellogg: "Do you really think I would told you that!?."
Nora: "Then I think we were done here, Let's kill him!."
Then Sico and Nora open fire at Kellog and his synth while Dogmeat bites one of the synth legs. After exchanging some bullets, Kellogg used a stealth boy to make himself invisible because his guard had already been destroyed by Sico and Nora. When Kellogg suddenly disappears, Sico asks Dogmeat to find his scent and bite him if Dogmeat finds him.
Then when Dogmeat finds him and bites Kellogg, his invisibility is gone and Sico with Nora shoot at Kellogg who is trying to let Dogmeat release his bite from him. After that Kellogg died because he could not protect himself, and then when Kellogg died Nora suddenly broke down in tears because she knew that she could not find her son.
While Nora is crying, Sico loots Kellogg's body gets some passwords for his terminal, his gun, and gets some kind of device that has been plugged into his head. After getting the password, Sico went to the terminal and opened it then read the data on the terminal.
Then Sico calls Nora who is already calm, and asks her to read what is on the terminal. After reading it, Nora knew that the Institute was the one who stole her son and asked Kellogg to take him from her. Then when they finish reading it, they click the activate elevator and heads to the elevator to get out of this place.
When they arrived at some place Sico saw a terminal and a door, Sico tried to open the door but it wouldn't open so he tried to hack the terminal. After some time, Sico successfully hack the terminal clicked the door open option and then click turn off the defense turret option. Before they go out, Sico tells Nora that they have to get back to Diamond City first because he has to bring Piper and her sister to Sanctuary too.
When they went through the door, they realized that they were on the Forth Hagen roof. Then they were shocked to see a giant plane and some small plane in the sky, who were telling them or everyone that they were coming with peace and that they were from the Brotherhood Of Steel. After the planes flew by, Sico and Nora composed themselves and went back to Diamond City.
