Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Into the Vault

John wakes up screaming and breathing heavily while have a cold sweat trickling down his back as he looks around at his surroundings. He hears some movements in a room adjacent to his own as 'his father' from the game rushes in.
Dad: John are you ok son? I thought I heard you screaming just now what happened?
As John stares at the situation he hears his System calling out, *Host congratulations on successfully integrating to the Fallout 3 universe and welcome to you're new life*
*Ding 2 rare beginners boxes have been sent to you're inventory*
John was just starting to calm his own excitement down when hearing that he's now in the Fallout universe. As he regains his his thoughts he told his father the he was fine.
John: "Yea sorry dad it was just a bad dream that's all." As he rubs the back of his head he gives his dad with a little smile to show he's ok.
Dad: "Are you sure son? I know how it's a big day for you just try not to push you're self to hard, don't want you getting sick again from over exerting yourself like last time." As he smiled he looks at his watch and he gets a surprised look on his face while checking what the time was.
Dad: "Listen son how about you go take a shower, I have to go check up on Jonas at the reactor we'll meet up at the diner ok."
As soon as he left I asked the System about the the two boxes I was given and she said I could check it out by opening up both boxes in my inventory, so as soon as I clicked on them the first box opens and a few items popped out:
1.U.S army CQC training manual
2. Stainless steel tanto combat knife
3.10 emergency MRE's (meals ready to eat)
4. Military water canteen with purified water automatically refills 2 liters of water every once every two hours
5. Colt .45 1911 with 7 magazine's
6. Gamers HUD
Max was surprised that he got a some cheat items right off the bat from the first box, but he wasn't complaining he was glad that he got them as he was thinking how harsh the wasteland was. He looked at the second box and wanted to open it but decided not so he can save it for a later use.
After getting up and looking around his new home in the vault, it was actually bigger compared to the old look in the game which only had one room and living room, this one had two separate rooms a hallway that looked maybe six feet long by three feet wide with a spacious living room, he was pretty happy about the size too. After he searched his new memories and found out that everyone has one just like his own. Thinking that this Vault wasn't like the one in the game this one was in fact bigger like ten times that of the original game version. As he was finishing drying himself off he noticed on his new HUD that it was his 10th birthday today and was wondering how things would plan out and if he would either get the old pip-boy 3000 or the pip-boy that resembles starlords ear piece, he shrugged it off thinking about what kind pip-boy it was. He started to walk out of the bathroom until he noticed the face in the mirror showing his new body and it almost resembles his past life body but shrunken down to fit a ten year olds body type, he was kind of depressed when all his hard work on making his body fit and limber in his past life was gone and replaced with a skinny little kids so he decided a workout plan after the party to gain it back slowly and to improve on it with the help with the U.S training manual he just gotten from the rare pack.
After changing into his vault suit he walked out spotted a little girl about his age that was familiar to him, her name was Amata the overseers daughter and his bestfriend, but what caught my eye was a beautiful looking woman in her early 30's or late 20's. The fact almost looked like an older version of Amata then it hit him, it was Amata's mother which John has never seen in the game before. John stood there with his jaw almost hitting the floor, he then asks the system how Amata's mom was here in this world she replied, *Host Amata's mother never was in the game remember host this is a different version of the game*
'Oh, ok I see,' while John was thinking Amata pinched hard enough on his arm to make him jump in pain before paying his attention back to her, "Ow what was that for Amata?!?" Amata was mad that he just ignored what all she asked to him.
"John I said are you coming with us to the dinner to have lunch with me and my mom today?" Amata asked while pouting at him.
"Yea I'm coming, jeez you didn't have to pinch me that hard." He answered back while rubbing his arm. Then John spun around at the sound of laughter behind the two. Looking back he saw Amata's mom laughing at how we were arguing with each other. Amata noticed too and stuck her tongue out at her I laughed and did the same.
"Aww why don't you two just look like a lovely couple, don't you think so Amata? "Amata mom teasing made Amata sputter out a her xome back.
While John was laughing Amata face was turning red with embarrassment before yelling back, "We're just friends mom," she then stormed off to the dinner alone leaving John behind trying to catch his breathing.
As he made his way with Amata's mother, the sound of a whispering Stanley asking Amata where John was and her repley was much to quiet for him to hear. John stopped a few before the door to check 'his boot laces', that's when he asked the System to show'em his stats.

As he saw the achievements he couldn't but think that the System was just making fun of him for being killed by a truck, or showing him the Dark Souls difficulty setting but he shrugged and guess he'll have to complain later about it.
