Chapter 13: Too Broken

I might have made a big mistake.

It has been a week and the existence of the menu has made me discover a lot. One discovery is that having everything and having nothing is not that different.

The only difference is what occupies your mind in those states.

The [Menu] like it was meant to do, gave me all kinds of skills and titles.

At that time when I came back from the Death March world, I appeared in the [Dimension Home] where I could do anything on a whim.

And boy did the [Menu] go crazy.

I might have also gone a bit overboard in my excitement.

I tried using water magic and just conjured a small water ball. Then I made the water ball so big that it covered the whole sky in the dimension.

Then there was a sea and some beaches.

In the end, I got the skills [Water Magic], [Water Manipulation], [Creation Magic], and some other useless titles that the author is too lazy to write.

Then I went on to make other elements. It started basic with the five and in my excitement, I ended up conjuring Chaos and got myself [Elemental Magic], [Elemental Manipulation], [Elemental Resistance], [Elemental Nullification], and freaking [Elemental Creation].

I mean that just ruined most of my plans to go around plundering skills and powers from different MCs.

While [Blackheart] would have indeed helped regenerate MP for me, now with [Elemental Creation] I can just create mana out of nothing.

It's a good thing that the [Menu] has a toggle function where I can switch these skills on/off.

Then there was [Space Magic], [Time Magic], [Space-Time Magic], and the manipulation and resistance of said skills. I could even create the damn thing but with limits.

Sigh, it got out of hand fast. I got all the possible skills I could think of and that saying something with my intelligence.

Then came Night. That guy had been hunting in the [Chaos Dungeon] and his every kill got me skill points.

It was too broken. I tried it myself. While I cannot get BP from the chaos dungeon, I can get skill points. And since am not leveling up, I get more skill points than Satou would if he were in the same position.

When playing around got boring, I tried following the canon and saving Luna, but the girl ran away from me right after.

I was also confused at the start until Aria told me what was happening.

My [Blackheart] feeds on misdeeds. While it can attract the villains and mischievous bunch, anyone feeling guilty from their acts would feel even more so in front of me.

This is because my presence surfaces their misdeeds and has them relive them to some extent. Anyone with a guilty conscience would only suffer in my presence.

And the whole thing was passive. The other day I walked into a supermarket and the cashier just left the establishment. When confronted, he confessed that he would harass the ladies who came to the store at night.

The dude was just so burdened that he sighed in relief and slept right after he was taken into custody.

And this also applied to monsters. I had to search the whole forest to get the [Bath] drop because the damn deer was avoiding me. But it was all worth it.

The damn thing could turn into a damn bathhouse. Yuuya from the canon was underusing it if that is even a term.

And the [Menu] worked even in the original world. What is confusing is that the skills I get there are even more broken when I increase their levels.

The content creation website that I named X-el Entertainment and developed a monetary system called X-el Exchange System was facing too many cyber-attacks and I decided to do something about it.

The knowledge I have been receiving from Tony Stark aside, the moment I got to work, I received the skills [Computing], [Cybersecurity], [Information Manipulation].

Yeah, they were not anything special at level 1, but the moment I added points, I could even compute and interact with the information that made up the universe.

Yeah, it's crazy. Then [Hacking] and [Tracking] came along while I was tracking the activities of the hackers. At level 10 [Hacking] allowed me to hack reality itself, while [Tracking] would allow me to see information even after it was erased.

This effectively made me something like a god. Imagine in a battle of equals then when exhausted, I suddenly manipulate information and hack reality to get rid of my exhaustion and injury, and fill my MP. Who'd stand that?

But that was the most basic use of this power. With this power, there was nothing I could not know in the Fandom Universe.

It was fun at first since I could even spy on what Tony Stark and other beings in the MCU were up to without them knowing, but knowing everything isn't fun at all.

Even the interest I had in following the plot died because of the knowledge I gained. The things I would have been interested in before lost value and there was nothing new.

I even had to forcefully do things on my own to distract myself. I created the final version of the Arc Reactor in all sizes.

The smallest I created had a 1 cm diameter and could power a whole processing plant without issue while the largest could power the whole world a hundred times over without a problem.

And that was because anything larger would be pointless. There were better ways to power other things than using anything bigger than that.

As for the materials, I now know the exact properties and composition of all matter in the current Fandom Multiverse.

With the [Creation Card], the only thing I could not make are souls. Even Outer Gods can't make those.

But I got [Soul Manipulation Magic] while I was trying to study them. The souls of monsters are amazing and so is [Necromancy].

The things I did in a week were enough to fill a lifetime. But I turned off most of the skills.

It was no fun knowing everything and doing everything.

I mean, the Iron Man suit I made would probably never exist in the MCU. Right from the Materials to the components.

I combined Uru, Mystrium, and a thousand other elements to create an absurd [Nanoforge] that incorporated magic.

The drops from Satou were also used to make the [Nanoforge]. Those drops had god-level items that elevated the forge to the same level as [Godmaker] if you consider that the forge is automated.

My [Royal Silk Pants] and all the other garments got their upgrades. With the [Copy, Edit, Paste] and the [Infinite Cosmic Containment Unit], there is nothing that cannot be made into a god-level item.

And that got boring fast. So I decided to have a crossing adventure. But first, I got to fill in the gaps I'd leave behind in my absence.
