Chapter 3: Chapter 3
The man (or fairy) chuckled softly "Don't you know where you are? Don't you remember?" He questioned staring at her puzzled.
"N....n....no" May stammered. 'Great he probably thinks I'm daft...wait why do I even care what he thinks! He freaking kidnapped me!' "WHERE AM I? WHO ARE YOU?" May said, raising herself to her full 5' 4".
The man walked slowly toward her, backing her up against the rough wall. His dark blue eyes stared into her eyes. She felt as if he could see into her very soul. She bit her lip to keep it from trembling. Gosh, he was tall....probably 6' 3" if she had to guess.
AWKWARD SILENCE.
"Well....explain yourself!" May said frustrated.
"You really don't remember anything?" He asked.
"All I know is that I was in my room and you kidnapped me!"
"WHAT! You said you wanted to get away! I simple made it happen. You should be thanking me!" He said, his whole aura darkening. He stepped even closer.
'Crap, he looks mad....but I can't show weakness..because if I do...who know what he will do to me' She thought....But then the man's face turned to concern as he continued to watch her.
"Your trembling." He said, regret laced his words. He quickly backed up. "Come sit, I'll answer your questions." He gestured to the bed.
May looked at him puzzled, but did his bidding as she lowered herself on the bed.
"You asked who I was..my name is Axel....I've brought you to my world after you said you wished to leave yours. As I said before I'm a fai..."
"What world is this, faires aren't real." She interrupted.
"My world has no name, it is just a world in another place." He responded softly. His eyes once again stared into her very soul.
"How did you come to be in my world?"
"I can travel to any world I wish to."
May stood and started to walk...but winced as she remembered her injured ankle. In an instant the man was at her side.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She lied. Refusing to look him in the eye.
"Tell me...what's wrong, I know your lying." He said, warning in his tone.
"You don't know anything about me! So don't pretend to care!" She shouted, pushing him away. She faced him as fear filled her heart. His whole being turned black it seemed, as he walked over to her.
"Where....Are....You....Hurt?" He said each word slowly and full of meaning.
"M...m....my a...ankle." May replied, trembling once again.
Axel's face softened and he suddenly picked her up bridal style and sat her on the bed. All before she could say a word. Then he gently examined her ankle.
May looked at it and found it bruised and swollen.
"What happened?" Axel demanded, emotions flickered in his eyes that May couldn't comprehend. He lifted his head to stare into her eyes again. 'Darn...he was hot..WAIT...WHAT!?' She thought
