Chapter 222: Road to Highest Level II

Unlike the prior wave on the Dark End Staircase, the current one possessed both grey-eyed and azure-eyed Nightmares alike. However, beyond that, Kaiden began feeling strong fluctuations of Energy behind him. What confused him was there were only his own people in the direction yet the fluctuations were something matching him. 

Turning around, he realized the sensations were being emitted from Intact. More specifically, it was coming from the ring around his finger. It was a special ring that attached to him when he took on the "Lord of Elements" mantle. It was releasing an increasingly strong force that grew by the moment.

"Is something wrong?" asked Kaiden as he looked at Intact expression. He was just as surprised as Kaiden was. He wasn't expecting such a sudden turn of events; the little spectacle had slipped his mind.
