With the chat closed, Kaiden's countenance turned grim. If he wasn't mistaken, the corp under the Sanguine Shadows was a group of homicidal maniacs. In fact, from his past knowledge, they were incidents of people in the real world disappearing with no trace. One moment they were there and in the next they disappeared like a shadow in the night.

'It seems the ones who handle the dirty work of the Council of Power are beginning to present themselves. This isn't good. I don't possess enough momentum to go against them. Don't tell me I'll have to rely solely upon Ethan,' inwardly mused Kaiden as he gnashed his teeth. 

The feeling of wrath once again washed over him as he thought himself to be powerless. While he understood his parents could solve his problem, he knew that wouldn't happen as him changing the fate of the planet he resided on was part of his "test". Only he had yet to understand what that meant.
