Ciel's POV*
Ugh, I never expected this. My senses rang when I reached the shore of this town, this only means one thing, a threat is here. My years of experience within The Burial Agency has honed my senses to always pick up gut feeling like this. Being an executioner has led me to experience various horrific things and this is exactly what I am feeling right now.
The pressure that this two emit is terrifying, I have no clue why I thought of that but that must be it. Staying hidden for a few more seconds to observe their interactions has forced me to understand that this two are just having a stroll in this land. I know I should not disturb them but somehow my body moved on its own.
"Hello~ I am lost, can I ask for directions?" my mouth then proceeded to do its usual work, in other words, deception. I was fairly confident that my words worked judging on the convinced look the dangerous woman has, she was ultimately deceived by my words. But I have the feeling that it didn't work with the grey haired man beside her, he seemed to know something and that is making me shudder.
Being a previous host of Roa, I instantly recognized the connection this woman has on that accursed man. I have searched far too long and already know that this was the source of Roa's power. However she doesn't seem to possess a power that surpassed Roa, that might be the reason to why I spoke the next sentence with utter confidence forgetting about the earlier fright I have.
"Ohh, is that so? Then… can I ask where I can find a killable Dead Apostle?" that was the moment my mind went blank. The blonde woman moved in an illogical speed that my eyes could not follow, she proceeded to decimate my body into three parts bringing unending pain to my receptors. I could not even scream as my body was too wrecked for me to do such thing.
Staying on the ground, I contemplated my actions. Wondering where I have gone wrong or why did I do that. My experience should have informed me what not to confront but here I am provoking a being that I have no hope of winning. No, I already know the answer myself. It should be the fact that this woman has connection to Roa has led to that reckless action of mine.
My mind could not simply accept the fact that the Roa's source of power is here careless about the world. That infuriated me, she probably has no clue to what kind of terror that man brought to the world. It irks me so much that I just want to torture this woman right now but sadly I don't possess such capability.
I feigned unconscious listening to the two's conversation. And from what I heard, the man was also not a human. Far from it, however he possess morals that convinced me that he has been living a pretty peaceful life all these years. These two should not be together, this woman has no morals whatsoever. She will simply bring trouble to this man.
Not good, my body is starting to regenerate infront of these two. My mind went to panic mode trying to find a way to solve this situation. Unfortunately, my gut feeling won the gamble as the woman instantly sensed something when that happened. "Roa?!" that shout was enough to make me shudder, damn this woman is seriously thinking about killing me right now.
Although I doubt I could die, the pain is still not something I would like to experience again. The woman moved in a supersonic speed, it was at this moment that I resigned to my fate. Despite knowing I won't die, I have an impulse that I will seriously cease to exist if this woman landed this blow. Bracing for the impact, my eyes closed itself waiting for it.
However what greeted me was not the attack of that woman but her scream of protest. "What are you doing?! She is the current host of Roa, I need to kill her immediately!" I then realized. I just escaped death.

Lawrence and Arcueid waited until Ciel fully regenerated before asking her. "Now, explain yourself. Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you" Arcueid threatened the girl much to Lawrence's exasperation. He really doesn't want it to devolve in such way but now that it happened, there is no turning back.
Ciel stood up from the ground, she tried to take some distance against Arcueid and Lawrence only for Arcueid to shower her with immense pressure. This dissuaded Ciel to stop it so she just halted her movement. After contemplating for a few seconds she finally decided to start speaking, in her usual way that is.
"Sorry for that Mr. Handsome and Ms. True Ancestor~ My mind went a little crazy there" she said giving them an amiable smile. This caused a wary reaction from Arcueid. Ciel saw that and finally realized that she won't be able to gain there trust, she must at least reveal a crucial information for them to let her go. "Sigh, alright, alright. I want you to know that I am not a host of Roa" Ciel said raising her hand in surrender.
Her words made Arcueid tilt her head, "Huh? I swear you reeks of Roa, yet you are not lying. Wait… does that mean?" she muttered before arriving at a possibility. This possibility was already considered by Ciel so she just smiled in response at Arcueid. "Perhaps this girl was a past host and not the current one. Might explain why she could regenerate in an illogical way" Lawrence pinned the nail.
Arcueid's mind went into full work, she instantly realized the girl's predicament making her change attitude. "Oh, I see! That makes sense. Alright, you are free of suspicions! Let's have a chat" Arcueid gave a thumbs up to Ciel who just smiled awkwardly. It is exhilarating how fast she changed her attitude, still Ciel is thankful for that.
"I was the previous host of Roa, the source of all of my sufferings. I wish to kill that guy" Ciel said with a different degree of hate in her voice, she really loathed that cursed bastard. Lawrence stared at Arcueid wondering if he can see some kind of sympathy from the girl but alas, that concept just doesn't fit with her. Arcueid was just nodding her head without any hint of sympathy despite being the person who has the most influence to Roa.
"Hmm, I can relate with you. Then let's do this! Let's find him together and make that guy suffer!" Arcueid reached a decision so she lended her hand towards Ciel asking for a handshake. She wanted them to cooperate to make the search easier, Arcueid judged that with Ciel's presence it would become a simple task.
Ciel reluctantly accepted the handshake, she still doesn't properly trust these two but based on the experience she has, Arcueid's hatred towards Roa was not a lie. It is genuine and that is enough bridge for her to accept this. "Oh, by the way, please properly introduce yourself. I don't want to be lied again" Arcueid said gesturing Ciel to start.
Sighing at the quirky actions of Arcueid, Ciel began talking. "Name is Ciel, I am an executor for a church organization. I am part of the 'The Burial Agency', a group of skilled assassins feared even within the church itself. As you might have known, my body was used by Roa's previous incarnation resulting to the curse of immortality. Until Roa dies, I cannot die" Ciel did her introduction.
She stated the major information already knowing that these two won't accept anymore deception. Her honesty certainly made it easier for Arcueid to trust her. "Ohh! Skilled assassin huh? Hey, can you vanish without anyone knowing?" Arcueid was interested in the talk about assassin so she swiftly asked many questions.
This made Lawrence sigh, "Arcueid, it is rude to not respond to her introduction. Bring the questions later" he reminded her stopping the blonde. "Oh right, I am Arcueid Brunestud. A True Ancestor, I am currently living with this guy for reason I cannot release" Arcueid smiled happily at Ciel saying that. She doesn't care about anyone knowing her real identity, living with Lawrence for many years has already made her dependent on him.
Ciel and Arcueid doesn't have a bad relationship in this world for they are not between the existence of Tohno Shiki. They have no reason to fight. More like they are destined to be partners for they have one single enemy to confront, Michael Roa Valdamjong. "Let's be friend alright! I will bring you salvation, you must have suffered a lot" Arcueid said getting closer to Ciel. With this, the relationship between a certain executioner and True Ancestor has been locked in the stone.
