Fated To The Darkness

Avyanna does not even know she is a born princess. The only one who holds such a secret is the woman she calls 'mother'. Not even her father knew of her existence, and her real mother, Queen Violet, only had a glimpse of her before she breathed her last.

King Gartner of Dancrest, a pure blooded witch, having been poisoned inside and out with greed and selfishness to have the world at his feet, had crossed his limits in the eyes of the sacred oracle, and for that, he was punished to have a full human with his human queen.

Seeing it as a curse and highly chagrined by the news, he decided to kill his wife with the unborn child to impede this punishment or curse whatsoever.

Under the cover of a night of thunderstorms, Queen Violet absconded with her handmaid, Cora, where she gave birth and handed her princess over to her maid, making her vow to protect her princess and not reveal her identity, before she closed her eyes. Forever.

But fate does wonders by leading Cora and little princess Avyanna to the kingdom of the prince whom the little one was destined to marry.

And this same prince was destined to end her father's reign.
