Chapter 1: Fever
Fever. that's what she got so used to calling them, the outbursts that's left only pain in their wake, first that cold stab in your chest then every thing fades as a fire tingles below your skin ready to consume everything else.
"emily?"
..just like that she's out of her daze and dragged back to reality "I've been calling you, wanna help?" Sam Emily's best friend says as she hands her a tray of food "yeah sorry" Emily replies heavily.
people buzz around her as she walk away then she feels it. that all to familiar coldness in her chest as she takes off to her room to her bed to her one security leaving sam in the lunch room , and by the time she makes it the heat rushes in and the world falls apart swallowed by the fever.
She wakes to a figure above her, a dream? she never dreamt before during the fevers, she fades in and out before realizing it's not a dream just as quick as the figure see's she's awake..leaving...and she's to weak to stop them.
