Chapter 1: Début
" Where have you been?"
I suddenly went stiffed on my place when I heard Jay's voice in front of me, the time I opened the door of their headquarters.
The headquarters of HYPHEN. The most heart flattering and well-known boy group of 4th gen. Dito ako pinatuloy muna ni ate at hinabilin kay Jay kanina dahil pinuntahan nya ang isa nyang alaga sa hospital. Jake Sim.
Nang magtaas ako ng tingin sa kanya ay grabe ang aking kaba. He looks so scary while leaning on the door. Like a father who gonna scold his child anytime soon. Isama pa ang salubong nyang kilay at matatalim na titig sa akin. Pati ang makapal na rolyo ng papel sa kamay nya. Parang konti nalang ang pagtitimpi nya at ipapalo nya na sa'kin ang bagay na yon.
" Sa labas?" I uncertainly asked as I wry. Halos manliit ako kasabay ng panliliit ng mata nya. Agad kong niyakap ang sarili ko at napalabi. I think he doesn't like my answer. Patay!
" You know that I don't speak tagalog right?" he asked while emphasizing the every word. I didn't even know how he spoke it with gritting teeth while his face still remain stoic.
" I went outside." I answered while pinching my hand like a kid.
" With whom?" he suddenly ejected while his eyes became fiercer to me.
" With someone."
" With whom?"
" With a friend!" I shouted. Paulit-ulit!
" Okay!" he surrendered and waved his hand in front of me like he already understood the reason. He just rolled his eyes and looked away before he opened the door widely for me. Ngingiti na sana ako dahil hindi nya ako isusumbong pero sya nga pala si

The coldest and heartless person I met.
" I'll just report this to your sister." he casually said like I'm not going to be punished after he report me. That immediately made my heart leap. This brat!
" Yah!" I exclaimed while following him towards the kitchen. " Jay!" I called but he didn't even turn his head to me and just casually walk.
How dare him to scare me!
Nakarating kami sa loob ng kitchen. I followed him until he stopped infront of the refrigerator and opened it. The coldness of the refrigerator assaulted our skin.
" Jay, don't do this to me!" I nervously said but still manage to make it loud and sounds brave.
He took the glass beside me and poured some water to it. His smelt immediately invaded my nose. Amoy mamahalin.
I was half-smiled when I scoffed with my thoughts and looked away. Ano bang iniisip mo Nicja?!
" Hmm?" he hummed while drinking the water. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapatingin sa kanya ng maagaw nya ang atensyon ko.
While looking at him I freely saw and envious the features of his face. He has a great body and firm muscles that were perfectly located on the right place of his body.
His eyes were mesmerizing yet lifeless and scary. But everytime he laughs it looks like a child eyes; pure and genuinely beautiful, especially when I was paired with his cupid bow lips. His nose is well-shaped, his skin is like a glass and he is so soft.
When my eyes went down to his Adam's apple my hands unconsciously moved and my expression changed. Agad kong tinabig ang baso sa na nasa kamay nya.
It was like I was saving myself from him. Like a basic survival instinct, just not to fully fell for that trap.
The water fell on his shirt while the glass shattered on the floor. I gasped and covered my hanged open mouth. We remained shocked for a second but when we finally pulled ourself together, or it just me who pulled myself together because Jay remained emotionless. I found myself panicking to get some tissue and nervously wiped his shirt.
" I'm sorry!" I apologized with my begging eyes. Gosh! Dagdag kasalanan nanaman to!
" Stop." he commanded but I didn't get it. " Stop!" he repeated and pushed my hands away that resulted of my almost out balancing body. Kung hindi ko nahawakan ang t-shirt nya ay malalaglag ako sa sahig dahil sa pagkatalapid ko sa paa ko at sa distanyang meron kami.
His body immediately bend forward with mine. After that he took off his spectacles in a cool way and glared straight into my eyes in so much annoyance.
He folded the spectacles and pushed it on my forehead with his threatening stares. He spoke at me with his serious and deep voice.
" This is a warning, Canja..."
