Sitting on a torn, used futon this young girl sat. Wondering if being the submissive ex-girlfriend is what is left. A family destroyed by drugs and scandal while she tried to survive. Celeste came out of her daze and turned around to face Lizbeth saying, "Sorry, I spaced out. How are mom and dad? Still need help trying to finalize the financials?"
"Sis! I am worried about you more. Mom and dad deserved this, but you always worked hard and helped when you could. I wish I could work too, but I am not old enough yet. Plus Minato was not worthy. I know you can find better!!!!"
"Lizzy, go to bed. You have school tomorrow. I will take you to school before I go to work ok. Love you."
"Love you too sis. Good night."
Celeste grabbed a blanket and set an alarm for the morning before falling asleep on the couch in the living room.
