Chapter 219: Commotion At The Chapel

"Prince Licht," Queen Ygrit frowned and rebuked Therius loudly. "What are you doing?"

Therius turned and faced King Cassius. His expression was flat as he bowed slightly and apologized to his grandfather.

"Your Majesty, I'm sorry, I can't do it. I agreed to marry Princess Yldwyn, but I never gave my consent to do it at the same time as Princess Emma. I cannot accept a double wedding like this," Therius said politely.

Emma and Yldwyn looked equally surprised at Therius's stern words. Meanwhile, Queen Ygrit held her breath.

"Prince Licht! I will not allow you to marry Emma Stardust unless you fulfill your promise to marry Princess Yldwyn," said King Cassius loudly. He looked offended. "The last thing we want is the Akkadian throne under a Thaesi princess's grip."

"Then there won't be a wedding today," said Therius. He looked up and stared at Emma deeply.
