"If you are so confident about your husband's reaction then the two of us wouldn't be in this situation in the first place," Solar said. "Did you gain confidence because I have stopped pursuing you?"

"Hah, it's always difficult to talk with you, Solar." Emma crossed her arms. "What if I said yes to that? Do you have any qualms about me revealing you to Therius? Are you the one who's actually afraid of what will happen?"

"Me? Scared of the king? Pfft." Solar laughed and pretended to wipe a fake tear. "Perhaps if I was an ordinary person then I would have worried about being eliminated by such a man, but you must remember that I'm Solar Blyze. He won't be able to touch me."

"I'm glad that you're secure about your position then, Solar," Emma muttered. 

"Oh, you didn't deny that Therius might eliminate me?" Solar narrowed his eyes and looked at Emma with an intense gaze.
