Chapter 7: SIKE!
Minato and Kushina looked over and smiled at him. Minato laughed "Don't be sad, Ryu. This is for the good of the village." Kushina teared up and smiled, "Ryu, take care of Naruto, okay? Tell him that his mother loves him, make sure he brushes his teeth…"
She burst into tears and continued as Ryu's emotions exploded crazily.
His Sharingan spun and upgraded to 3 Tomoe!
Minato was surprised but smiled gently, finally sealing himself and Kushina into Naruto…
Kurama disappeared and the couple died, leaving a baby there.
Ryu picked up Naruto and looked at him, grinning like a devil uncontrollably as tears dripped from his eyes.
His Sharingan disappeared as people ran over.
The leader was Hiruzen, followed by Jiraiya and Tsunade.
They saw Ryu holding Naruto and Hiruzen sighed, "Unfortunately…" Ryu turned his head and hatred surged in his eyes, shouting "Unfortunately! Hahaha! Unfortunately you're all fucking useless!"
Jiraiya and Tsunade's faces changed.
Hiruzen frowned and said "Ryu-kun, put Naruto down. Don't hurt him by getting excited. I apologize that we couldn't stop the tragedy." Ryu roared angrily, "Scram! You dogshit Hokage, what can you do?! You can't even stop a single Kyuubi?! Is that a joke! The best Hokage we had just died and you're trying to posture here! Fuck off for me!" as he walked away with Naruto, adding "Garbage Sages, ones more trash than the other! Get the fuck out of the Village if you can't help, why even come back?" before flickering and disappearing.
Hiruzen shouted "Go after him!" Jiraiya was already dazed but reacted this time, "Old man, hold on. I don't think he's going to hurt Naruto, this is unnecessary, right?" Hiruzen paused and said "Stop, forget it. I'll go see him tomorrow…"
Tsunade frowned and said "No need. We'll go instead." Hiruzen paused again and a light flashed in his eyes as he nodded silently.
That was the end of the matter.
Ryu returned to his little house and passed by a Root Ninja, who said "Stop!" Ryu kicked him into a building, growling "Get the fuck out of my way, trash!"
The Uchiha clan ran over and Fugaku stepped out frowning "Ryu? What happened?" Ryu turned his head to the sky, crying "What else? Hahaha! Minato and Kushina are dead! Trash Hokage, and the 2 Clowns of Konoha couldn't stop a single fox."
Fugaku's face changed and he frowned deeply, "Fourth Hokage is dead?" the rest of the Uchiha were all shocked silly, what the fuck was going on today?!
First they were stopped from leaving the compound…
Everyone had their eyes widen and they looked at Fugaku incredulously, Fugaku sighed and looked grim.
Two little boys looked at Fugaku in confusion.
Ryu sneered at them, saying "This is your will of fire? Heh… Bullshit!" the little boys' faces changed. Fugaku said lightly, "Ryu." Ryu looked at him and Fugaku gestured with his eyes, 'Not here, not now.'
Ryu looked around and snorted, going into his little house, holding Naruto.
He packed up his things and left with the baby.
Fugaku just watched and sighed, not saying anything.
Ryu found a small apartment near the center of Konoha where the ruined places were.
Who would've thought that disaster areas were cheap!?
Ryu set up his things in the apartment. It was relatively the same as his old house except there were bunk beds instead of a single bed.
Ryu laid Naruto down on a bed and sat at the desk, looking out the window at the overly large full moon in the sky. He fished in his pockets and threw a pack of cigarettes on the desk, lightning one with a little fireball.
He leaned back on the chair, kicking his feet up and smoking as he stared at the night sky…
The next day
Ryu came back to the Apartment with Naruto. He put down a big bag full of baby stuff, sitting down as he read the instructions with confusion.
He frowned and muttered "How much is 3 pinches… what the hell…" as he tried mixing baby formula. Naruto was crying loudly and Ryu stuffed the bottle of baby formula into his mouth, shutting him up.
Naruto shut up instantly, sucking on the formula and giggling.
Ryu let out a breath and lit a cigarette in distress as he read the rest of the instructions for the other things.
He was only 13 and he had to take care of a baby, if this wasn't crazy, what was?
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Ryu frowned and held Naruto in his arms, looking around at the windows vigilantly. He opened the door with a frown.
Surprisingly, it was Jiraiya and Tsunade!
Ryu frowned deeply, staring at them, "What do you want?" Tsunade exploded, "Listen brat! Show so res-" Ryu slammed the door in her face and went to sit down.
The door was kicked open and Tsunade stormed in angrily, shouting "You bas-" Ryu cut her off, growling "Get out of here! Nobody needs you!" Tsunade choked on her words and trembled in rage, glaring at Ryu as though she wanted to eat him alive!
Jiraiya chuckled and walked over, sitting down as he smiled "Hello! Sorry, Ryu. I know you cared a lot about Minato…" Ryu frowned badly, "I seem to be the only one."
Jiraiya swallowed his next words, and sighed. Why was this kid so prickly!?
Tsunade couldn't handle it anyway, saying "Teacher wants Naruto under his care." Ryu laughed in anger and his devil grin acted up as he replied "For what? So he can focus everyone's hatred on him?!"
Ryu grinned eerily and barked out, "Fuck off!"
Tsunade was suffocating in anger and Ryu ignored her, grinning strangely, Jiraiya had goosebumps and asked curiously "Why are you.." Ryu replied eerily "It's a condition. When I get nervous or overstimulated, I grin like this. I'm actually sneering at you both in my heart."
Jiraiya choked and coughed violently, looking at Ryu strangely.
Tsunade crossed her arms and sneered, "So you're going to take care of the kid just like that? A brat like you?" Ryu grinned in anger, "Who else? You? Maybe he'll be scared of blood too?"
Tsunade froze and Ryu cackled, "Trash!" Jiraiya pressed his hands out, saying "Well, let's calm down. I understand you're angry, but this was an accident. Who could've known that such a tragedy would happen?"
Ryu pointed to the door, barking out angrily "Go ask your garbage Hokage! Where was he?! When the Kyuubi was running around last night, where was he!? Out to buy tobacco!?"
Tsunade frowned, "Are you saying that this was a conspiracy?! You have the guts to even think about that?!" Ryu glared at her and replied "I really misjudged you! You're not just trash, you're a fucking idiot as well! It's true what they say, big chested women have no brains at all!"
Tsunade froze and trembled in anger, Jiraiya pressed out his hand and held her back, saying "There's no need to be so rude, right? We tried to stop it." Ryu cackled, "Right. I'm so sorry."
He was completely insincere.
Jiraiya sighed and bowed, "Sorry to intrude then. I'm really sorry for your loss." before straightening out, "Let's go." as he pulled Tsunade along, leaving the house.
Just as he was about to step out of the door, Ryu's face changed slightly and the grin disappeared as he said softly "Thank you, Jiraiya." Jiraiya paused and turned to see Ryu, crying bitterly.
He smiled slightly and nodded without a word, leaving the house, propping up the door as he left.
Ryu put Naruto down on the bed and fixed the door before sitting next to Naruto, looking at him as he sighed "It's just you and me now, kid." Naruto giggled and fell asleep. Ryu sighed and wrapped him in a blanket.
