"Get ready, because prince Gujong is coming soon with the big family of Gyongje kingdom". After saying that, the king immediately came out of the room of Princess Anna.
"The king said, that is you only need to please your husband without much protest". The queen's words clarified what the king said.
Anna felt a pain in the deepest part of her heart, she lost hope and had to accept a marriage with a man she had never seen before.
With the help of two maids, Anna got out of bed and headed for the mirror.
Her very beautiful face with long straight hair that was thick and brown in color made her admire herself.
"So many princes who want to see my beauty, even want to marry me. But, my father instead chose the mysterious Gyongje kingdom to be my place of residence. Is it possible that I can survive with a man I don't know?". Anna thought with a sad expression.
After that she rushed to the bathroom to clean herself in the pool which was already filled with colorful flowers.
A few moments later.
"Princess Anna, I will help you to make up". Eun said after bringing Anna to sit in front of the mirror.
Anna could see the sincerity of Eun's face so she sat down obediently.
Eun spent hours dressing Anna up to make her look pretty.
After that, Anna wore a sky blue dress mixed with white and jewelry. The long brown hair was decorated with pink flowers very beautifully and finally a diamond crown was pinned to the neatly arranged hair.
The crown was quite heavy on Anna's head, but she admired the face that was getting prettier in front of the mirror.
"Do you know why I have to marry the second prince of Gyongje kingdom? Even though I heard from the concubine Dongyi that the first prince is still alive and not married?". Asked Anna who was still curious.
Anna remembered Dongyi's concubine story about the first prince of Gyongje kingdom. However, Dongyi's concubine could not continue her story because she was prevented by the king.
"The rumors that the prince is terrible. Whenever he gets angry he will utter a deadly curse. Whatever he says with anger, it will happen. He said he was unlucky so he was disliked by the people in the palace. This rumor came from one of their palace maids". Eun replied.
Instead of being afraid, Anna was even more curious about him.
"Why do I feel attracted to know the first prince? Is he really that terrible?".
"Princess, do you not like this makeup?". Eun asked anxiously when she saw Anna just staring at the mirror.
"I like it because my face is very beautiful". Anna answered with a smile amidst her confusion.
"Princess does not need to worry, everything will be fine, because the prince who is going to marry the princess is not as bad as his brother". Eun said as she held Anna's hand.
Eun tries to get Anna to think positively.
"I don't worry or believe the bad news circulating about the brother of my future husband. I'm just afraid that this kingdom is in danger of being destroyed if the man I will marry is a liar, a seducer, a murderer, a manipulator, or a cruel criminal. looks good he is the real enemy". Anna said.
Eun was silent, she knew that the Princess she served was very smart and loved reading political books. She was not surprised by what Princess Anna said.
A knock on the door made Anna and Eun stop talking, they both turned to the door at the same time.
"Princess, it's time!". Said the servant who had just entered her room.
"We are going down now!". Eun replied.
With Eun's help, Princess Anna came out of the room walking slowly because her dress was so heavy that she was afraid to fall.
A moment later.
"Your husband is there!". Queen said after Anna was near her.
Anna immediately turned her head to see the man her mother meant.
The man looked tall, broad-shouldered with thick black hair and very neat. However, she could not see his face because it was covered by several people talking to him.
