Chapter 8: Wave 1
While the sky it having this strange phenomenon my instincts are screaming at me to dodge, which i do and what I see is almost as strange. What is infront of me is a bunch of the same monster which I have never seen before, a two headed dog with creepy red eyes.
As it lowers itself to get ready to attack me again as it leaps for me I roll to the side while un sheathing my sword and inflict a deep gash on its under belly, with me knowing that was enough I get ready for the next ones to attack me.
After some time of killing these monsters which I end up calling "hounds" all of the ones in the surrounding area are dead each with either small or deep cute over their bodies. While looking around with my guard up I start to hear the muffled footsteps of an army of men in armour, I dive into the bushes to get a good look at them without them seeing me
As I poke out my head I see dozens of men in armour getting into a fighting position to fight a gigantic hound which is by far the biggest one I have ever seen ! It even has 3 heads instead of the normal 2, with a bit of an armour like thing over its head like a helmet !
'I should leave' (Violet)
With that thought I run in the opposite direction I'm sure those soilders will do just fine. In the distance I hear people screaming with my heart guiding me i kill every hound on the way over to those screams.
I approach the screams I notice a family running away from a hound and their approaching a cliff !
'Shit !' (Violet)
I up my Speed to the point that I'm just wizing through trees and bushes, as I'm getting closer I see the father and mother get jumped on by the hound and in a last ditch attempt to save their daughter they through her off the cliff to make her likely hood of survival be higher than staying with the hound
'I'm to late !' (Violet)
I was just out of reach when they both were killed by the hound. I then get within reach and stab the hound straight in the head killing it instantly even without the cure on the blade it would be dead anyway.
Before I get a chance to go check on the little girl im surrounded by hounds even for me this amount will take a little while to kill.
After 10 minutes I have killed all the hounds and am breathing heavily
*pant* *pant*
That was tiresome I gotta ... get .. to the ...girl
*thud*
Time skip (the next morning)
I awaken looking straight up at the sky... oh nice it's blue again I wonder what last night meant. Wait was that one of the waves mentioned in the legends of the 4 cardinal heros !? Oh my if thats true then the heros must be being summoned ! I can test my strength against them ! I feel like I'm forgetting something. I wonder what ?....
'The girl!' (Violet)
I jump straight up and run to the edge of the cliff when I look over the edge somethings up the girl isn't there ? Uh oh I need to find her. I jump down the cliff and look around but I notice she isn't around
'Where did she go ? I hope nothing bad happened to her' (Violet)
There is no blood around so she must of not been hurt from the fall to badly and she hasn't been dragged away by an animal there would be prints and blood.
But there is carriage tracks so she must of been picked up by a carriage, I'm sure it's a nice person.... wait her parents where racoon kin so she must be as well, everyone in melromarc hates beast kin especially nobles and who commonly has carriages nobles ... im sure I'm just being stupid there's no way a noble would come here
After some thinking time I have the good thought of heading towards the capital to see what one of the heros Melromarc summons
'I'll keep to the outskirts, im definitely not going in their by Myself' (Violet)
