Chapter 298: Surrounded!

The next morning, Eros woke up feeling unwell. He felt so weak and he was burning up. He had a high fever. This was the effect of losing his magical power as an angel.

"You are so hot. Are you okay, Eros?" Selene asked him worriedly, placing her palm over his forehead to check his temperature. "Oh God, you're so hot."

Selene immediately picked the thermometer inside her cabinet along with the medicine kit. She went downstairs to get a glass of water. When she was back, she helped Eros sit up on their bed. 

"Here, take this medicine for your flu."

Eros obediently followed her, drinking the medicine.

"I'm just fine, Selene. Even a cupid gets sick once in a while." Eros said this to reassure Selene. He didn't want her to worry about his current condition. Besides, this was just a natural effect when losing his angel's power.
