Chapter 193: Moon Crescent Chaser

As expected, Lucien let her go.

He removed the blanket draped over her and walked towards the human that was slumped on the ground. He checked for his pulse.

It was weak and extremely hard to detect, but it was there.

Lucien breathed a sigh of relief. The ghost girl, after realizing she was finally released from the excruciating pain, grinned widely from ear to ear.

She turned her back. She was spared this once. She should just go and get away from here. Then go find another place where she can dwell and get stronger…

But…

Ghosts are not so much fond of sharing their territories. 

Not to mention each one of them drew malice faster if they stayed in the same place right where they died tragedically.
