Nana stood by the painting hanging on the wall in Mi Cha's living room. "Do you remember the conversation we had about the painter?" She asked Mi Cha, who was watching a movie on the television.

"Yea, about J.H.? What about the person?" Mi Cha asked, wondering why Nana was bringing it up.

"The name is Jiang Haewon. You won't believe I lived in the same house with her for years and didn't even know it," Nana said with a rueful laugh.

".." Mi Cha simply stared at her in surprise. She didn't know what to say.

"How did it all happen? Did they tell you?" Mi Cha asked, standing up from her seat to lay her hand over Nana's shoulder in silent comfort.

"Jin-A is just like her father. They can't stand rejection. He beat up my mother and raped her... she couldn't paint after the injuries she sustained," Nana said with a shrug.
