Two hours later, the healing ring suddenly stopped working, and the gentle green aura surrounding Liam's body vanished.

At that moment, pain once again surged through him, and he let out a faint groan.

Although he had been undergoing treatment for quite some time, he was still slightly injured, and most of the burn marks on his body hadn't faded.

It was well known that magical injuries—especially burns—were harder to heal than ordinary injuries and wounds.

With bloodshot eyes, he looked at the green ring and muttered,

A mocking smile appeared on his face as he contemplated his miserable state.

He was semi-disfigured and estimated that he would need at least three more healing sessions before he could fully recover.
