Chapter 20: Relaxation

Immediately after Liam logged out, he found himself standing in the middle of the dilapidated palace in the forest.

Unlike when he had left, the place was dark, and if it weren't for the faint moonlight filtering through the windows and holes in the ceiling, he wouldn't have been able to see anything.

He calmly looked around, carefully checking his surroundings.

As soon as he confirmed the area was safe and no one else was present, his tense body relaxed.

However, he didn't lower his guard and remained ready to face any potential threat.

sigh!

"Almost four days have passed since I left, so I don't think the Baron and his followers are still looking for me."

He tiredly sat on the ground and yawned, then said, "Actually, that doesn't matter. Now that my rank has increased, escaping them won't be difficult."

He said this with full confidence, but he wasn't happy; on the contrary, he felt a mix of sadness and fear.
