Chapter 2: Curiosity Unleashed

So, as Ava goes to college, she spots Alex standing in front of a room. As she continues to gaze at him, someone unexpectedly closes her eyes . It turns out to be her best friend Emma! Ava expresses her surprise and asks why Emma didn't mention that they'd be attending the same college.

Emma chuckles and replies, "I wanted to surprise you! I'll follow you everywhere, remember?" They share a lighthearted moment and make their way to their seats.

As they settle in, the teacher enters the room. The class falls silent, and the teacher begins the lesson. Emma leans over and whispers to Ava, "I hope this professor is as entertaining as our high school teachers!" Ava stifles a giggle and nods in agreement.

As everyone's attention is on the teacher, Ava can't help but steal glances at Alex. However, she notices her new friends giving her angry looks. With a smile, she leans over and whispers a soft "hi" to them, trying to diffuse the situation.

But her new friends continue to give her intense stares. Realizing the discomfort, Ava decides to shift her attention away from Alex and fully focus on the lesson. She averts her gaze from him and directs her energy towards actively participating in the class.

After class, Ava gathers her courage and approaches Alex for a conversation. At first, he tries to ignore her, but as he catches a glimpse of her beautiful, vibrant eyes, he can't help but be captivated. He musters the courage to say hi and apologize for his previous rude behavior. With that, he quickly leaves the room, leaving Ava in a state of surprise.

Ava, feeling the tension, musters up the courage to break the silence. With a friendly smile, she turns to their new friends and says, "Hey, why don't we make this lunch break a little more interesting? Let's play a game of 'Two Truths and a Lie' to get to know each other better!" The group hesitates for a moment but then agrees, intrigued by the idea. As they take turns sharing their truths and lies, laughter and conversation fill the air, easing the discomfort and creating a more enjoyable lunchtime for Ava.

Ava kindly explains that it's important to respect people's privacy and ask for consent before taking their photos. Jessica gives Ava a scared look and tries to pick a fight. However, Alex remains clueless about the tension because he's too focused on himself. Sensing the rising conflict, Ava takes a deep breath and calmly tells Jessica, "Hey, Jess, I didn't mean to upset you. Let's talk it out without getting into a fight. Alex might not even realize what's happening, so let's find a way to address this calmly and respectfully."

But Jessica throws water on the table and storms off, Emma explains to Ava that Jessica can be a bit spoiled and is very focused on impressing boys, earning her the title of "college queen." Emma advises Ava not to dwell on Jessica's behavior.As Ava and Emma leave the canteen, they witness Alex and Jessica engaged in a heated argument, exchanging scary looks. Ava is taken aback by the sight, as Alex is typically shy and introverted, while Jessica is the college queen. Ava's mind races with countless thoughts, trying to make sense of the situation. Emma suggests that it might be because Jessica captured Alex's photos, but Ava disagrees, feeling that there must be something deeper causing their intense conflict. Both Ava and Emma share a shocked expression, realizing that there is more going on between Alex and Jessica than meets the eye.

Ava: "Emma, it's not just about photos. They're acting like they've known each other for years. Something significant must have happened between them."

Emma: "You're right, Ava. It's definitely more complicated than it appears.
