Chapter 2: Chapter 1
My plane has finally landed at the airport and I am glad to be back on the ground. I walk among the mortals searching for my guide who would take me to where I needed to go. He made his way over to me with a stride of confidence. His hair sandy blonde, peppered with white, while his build was that of a linebacker who had started to let himself go. He held out a hand to me showing me his badge then spoke
"Hello I am Agent Rolls. You are to come with me for transport Agent Rosen. Please follow me".
His voice was brisk and to the point as he spoke to me showing his distaste for his task. I sigh and walk with him to the waiting jeep as he walked briskly. I was able to taste the man's distaste as he practically shoved me into the jeep with a growl. I smile and sit down next to a box of excavator's tools covered in dust.
The ride to the site wasn't the least bit smooth making me bounce along with the Jeep hitting my head several times. It wasn't pleasant to say the least, so I was glad when the ride was over and Agent Rolls opened the door and pointed to the path that had been well marked for me to follow. As I followed the path I couldn't shake the feeling that this was going to be the worst mistake of my life.
