Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Answer
Even though she's a good water user she only has a small chakra reserve. She can't afford to use a huge amount of chakra just to block this one attack, especially when there's no body of water near her.

Fortunately, she noticed the attack earlier and the black hoodie jacket she was wearing moved and formed a hand behind her, grabbing and squishing the fireball like it was nothing.
The rogue that attacked her was caught by surprise and didn't notice that she's already behind him.
"Baam!" - (Shinsuki) said and the water bullet coming out of her finger was drilled into the skull of her enemy.
Being the descendants of the 3rd Kazekage, she's one of the lucky ones to inherit the kekkei genkai of the Kazekage clan, the magnet release.
During her recent birthday, Gaara gifted her 5 cubic meters of chromium sand, the hardest metal in the world, at least according to Shukaku. Gaara didn't spend even a penny to acquire this valuable material. With the help of Shukaku's knowledge, he was able to find a large deposit of it and mined it himself.
But since at that time there were still many people tracking and watching his every movement, Gaara used his <<spooky action at a distance jutsu>> to guide his sand that was traveling underground towards the deposit without even moving his body from his spot. Doing this allowed him to bypass anything that was spying on him. It was also the same trick he used to mine the conundrum sand he was using.
In the academy Shinsuki didn't really use her kekkei genkai that much just like Gaara because there's no opportunity to do so and it's unfair to other students, that's what she felt at least. The only time she uses it is when training and when showing off to Gaara.
The first time Gaara saw it, he was not really impressed, much to her disappointment. Because the only thing she could do at that time was bend a metal spoon and other utensils. She basically sees it not as a weapon but a plaything.
"That was my 8th one." - (Shinsuki) noted to herself, tracking her number of kills so far.
She really changed over the past few years. Before, a mere thought of killing someone was enough to demotivate her. But now, she steeled her will and got used to her new lifestyle. Being exposed to the cruel reality of the world at such a young age changed her view on things.
Seeing this unfold in front of them, the chunins were at a loss for words. They have only defeated 3 rogues each at most so far, yet these kids who are probably half their age took down more than double of theirs.
"Wh-What do you think you are all doing?! A-Aren't you all experienced in this kind of job?! I didn't pay for a huge sum just for you to blow everything up!!" - (Client) exclaimed in panic.
The client then ran to the other direction and tried to escape but something blocked his path. He was utterly terrified by the gigantic red hand in front of him. The hand got closer and closer and grabbed his body.
"N-Noooo!! Let me go!!" - (Client) yelled as he wailed in Gaara's grasp.
"Certainly not." - (Gaara) said and tightened his grasp, putting the man into sleep. They will need to interrogate this guy later and squeeze every information they can out of him.
With all the things going on in the battlefield, no one had noticed that the mastermind had been taken down.
"Alright, guys. I have the culprit so let's wrap things up quickly." - (Gaara) said.
Everyone looked in his direction, with the enemies in disbelief. Before they could figure out whether to abandon their client or not, bullets of red sand rained down their skulls, killing them all instantly.
The team gathered up while Kankuro put the corpses of the enemies into a scroll. It's common knowledge to every shinobi to bring the bodies of their enemies to their village to which their heads will be sold to the black market.
"Good job, everyone. We were able to lure out the ones eyeing for our goods. Our real objective is complete. Mission accomplished. Let's go back to the village. I just received a letter from our messenger hawk requesting for Gaara's appearance immediately. It looks like something happened while we're away." - (Chunin leader)
"Yes sir!" - Everyone replied in unison.
It turns out that the merchant they were supposed to protect was also a shinobi and that their goods are fake in order to eliminate future threats before delivering the real goods.
//The next day, Suna Conference room//
Inside the room, there are 2 people seated. They both looked like they were in their 60's.
They are the Honored Siblings of Suna. Chiyo and Ebizo.
*Tok! Tok!*
A knock on the other side of the door was heard.
"Come in." - (Chiyo) said.
The door opened revealing a 5 feet tall young man with spiky red hair. His eyes wandered around the room for a brief second and looked back at the siblings.
"You are looking for me?" - (Gaara) said after observing the room.
"Yes. Please, take your seat." - (Chiyo) said and Gaara took his seat.
"Did you encounter any issues in your mission?" - (Ebizo) asked to start the conversation.
"The mission went without any problems. We were able to lure the people eyeing for our goods. Our leader already submitted the report. You can check the rest of the details there." - (Gaara) replied.
"I see. That's to be expected. Some thugs who know nothing believe that they can mess with us because of all the things that happened recently. Anyway, We have different matters to discuss." - (Ebizo)
"We had a meeting with the daimyo yesterday. And we agreed to…" - (Chiyo) proceeded to retell what happened to the meeting.
…
"So I'm the next Kazegake now." - (Gaara) said while deep in thought.
"I believe you don't have any problems with that? - (Chiyo) asked.
Gaara thought for some time before he gave an answer.
"I have a condition, though. If that's okay." - (Gaara) said.
The siblings looked at each other and nodded.
"Let's hear it first." - (Ebizo)
