Chapter 7: Chapter 7.

As soon as the remaining bandits realized that Ronir had died, they decided to surrender. Soon, they all started throwing their weapons to the ground.

Aldarion was so tired that he collapsed on the ground, and Gersten, worried, approached him as fast as he could. Aldarion looked at him and he quickly indicated that he was just tired. The Captain, seeing that Aldarion had no apparent wounds, and that what the young man had said was true, began to give orders to the guards.

"Well done guys! Arrest the survivors and take them to the cells! Help your wounded comrades and take them to be cured!"

The moment Gersten finished giving orders, Aldarion heard a warning of the system in his head. - "Ding! The mission 'Defender Bree of the bandits' has been fulfilled. Rewards: +30 reputation points, 'Avatar Role', +50 experience points".

Following this message and without giving him time to react to Aldarion, the system continued with another announcement. - "Ding! The user has risen. Please distribute the unused attribute points".

The succession of messages was giving Aldarion a slight headache. He was so tired, he could hardly concentrate, but even so, he instructed the system to put the two attribute points in strength.

Aldarion hoped that would ease his condition a little. He was not wrong with his decision. Almost at the instant of the system executing his order, the fatigue accumulated in his body lightened a lot and he had stopped panting heavily.

With his mind clearer, Aldarion asked the system in which the reward 'Role of the avatar' consisted, and the system answered him instantly.

"¡Ding! 'Role of the Avatar' is a skill given to the user that allows him to have a past life. If the user did not have this ability, it is as if he had never existed in this world, and that would prevent him from carrying out his task. In addition, you are warned that once activated the ability will influence the way of thinking of the user".

"Perfect! How can I know the history of my character?"- Aldarion asked the system.

"Ding! The user must first activate the skill and then receive his life in the form of memories". - I answer the system.

Aldarion, not knowing how to do it, had no choice but to ask the system how he had to do it. - "Ding! The user only has to concentrate on the skill while he thinks he wants to activate it". - And, without further delay, Aldarion did it.

Not even five seconds passed, when Aldarion received notification of the system. - "Ding! You have activated the ability 'Avatar Role'".

At that very moment, Aldarion began to notice how a story, in the form of many memories, began to appear in his head. This caused him such a headache, that he could not help but lose himself. The last thing he saw was Gersten who was seeing him and called him.

It was already day when Aldarion woke up. The first thing he did when he opened his eyes was to observe his surroundings and, with a calm expression, he realized that he was in his room in the tavern.

'They must have brought me after I dismembered.' - Aldarion thought.

Aldarion had still a little headache, but he could sort out his new memories and he began to check them.

As far as Aldarion could discover, he is Aldarion, second son of Aragost, former Captain of the Dunedain of the North and, therefore, descendant of Isildur. His father died when Aldarion was still a child, and his older brother Aravorn became the new Captain of the Dunedain.

Aldarion was always against the wishes of his brother, without wanting to know anything about the dynasty, due to the problems he brought to his family.

Aldarion loved his mother and his brother, but could not forgive his father for putting his duty as Captain to his family, so he hated everything that had to do with duty and rebelled against his brother continuously.

Although reluctantly, if his mother asked, Aldarion did what he said. That way, his brother could keep him under control.

But, two months ago, his mother died due to an illness and the control began to disappear gradually, so that, one day that his older brother was on a mission, Aldarion managed to escape from the camp. Once outside he made the decision to leave and not return. Aldarion could forget about his family's duty and he would live his own adventure.

He had been traveling from the northeast for two months, when he arrived at Bree and he woke up being the user.

'So I'm a deserter from my town'. - Aldarion thought.

As far as Aldarion knew, the original plan was to head west, to the elven kingdom of Lindon, through the Shire.

'Oh, it's not a bad plan. So we go to the Gray Ports to meet Cirdan'. - Aldarion said to himself.

Even though he liked the plan, Aldarion knew he was too weak to make it to the elven kingdom. He needed to get stronger and the first thing he had to do was seeing his state to create a plan.

"System, show me my state". - Aldarion ordered the system.

After seeing his condition and observing that everything was correct, Aldarion began to formulate his plan.

Aldarion needed to become stronger. For starters, he needed to acquire better combat skills and improve those he already had. In addition, he had to level up, for it he had to find a way to raise experience. All this made him think and he came to the conclusion that the only one who could help him right now was Gersten.

Aldarion rose with determination in his eyes, he equipped his objects and he went down to the tavern for breakfast.

He was eager to go talk to Gersten, but Aldarion was so hungry, he could not help but put the matter on hold.
